Chapter 7: Chapter 7
I came back into the desert. I think I will make it my permanent base. I could use the terminators to help me built an underground base. But I will also need a good food source. I can't just live on canned foods for the duration that I will stay in this world.
Anyway, I now have a lot of creation and merging to do now. So first let's start with Arnold. I know it's a T-800 unit but he looks like Arnold. So I will just call it that.
Also I need clothes for him. Wait a moment. Can I analyze my clothes. I tried it and it did happen.
I created brand new set of clothes. It was just a shirt and pants. It would be a little tight on Arnold but it would do for now. I don't want to see him naked all the time.
Now I created another few Arnolds. Then I merged them together into one. So now in front of me was a more stronger and better Arnold.
Now I looked at the T-X and T-1000 and did the same. They also became stronger.
Then I created the Nanorobots and the carbon based liquid. I created another Arnold, T-1000 and T-X. I merged the T-1000 with Arnold. It just created another T-1000 with Arnold's model.
Then I wanted to merge the new Arnold T-1000 unit with T-X. But stopped.
I looked at the T-1000 Arnold and asked " Hey there. What do you feel when i merged you with T-1000?"
He looked at me and said " Nothing. I can't feel anything. "
"Opps, wrong question. I forget you don't have feelings. Now let's change my question. What is happening when I merge you?"
" The liquid metal components on the T-1000 wraps around my exoskeleton and biomass. Then transformed them into liquid metal. "
" I see. Then why are you still in the form of T-800's model and not T-1000's model?"
" My programing tell that your facial expressions are more positive when I am in this form. "
Ohh wow. But that is true. Who doesn't like Arnold? But no homo. I like him but not in that way.
Anyway I turned to the T-X model who looked like Kristanna Loken.
I said " Hello." She smiled and said " Hello. Father."
Hold on. Hold on for a moment, did you just say FATHER? I said to her again " Can you repeat that?"
She replied again "Hello, Father."
I asked her " Why are you calling me father?"
She looked at with a bewildered expression and said " Because you are our father. You created us from nothing. " Da fuck!
But what she said was true. I did create them from nothing. This answers some questions from before. I looked at the Arnold and asked them if they thought the same about me. Their answer was same.
But unlike T-X they called me creator instead of father. But I guess they were different models so different speech is not too big of a deal.
I looked at the T-X and asked it " Can you use your plasma gun? "
She said " Yes I can." And her right arm changed into a plasma cannon.
I looked at her and said " Then shoot my left arm with it." She looked at me and her smiling face was changed.
She aimed at my arm and the plasma cannon was glowing with energy. But she didn't shot it.
I frowned and asked her to shoot again. She looked at me and then she shot a bolt of plasma. But it didn't hit me.
I looked at the T-X and said "What happened? "
She was silent and didn't say anything. I manually controlled her. She had shocked expression.
I took control of her plasma gun and shoot it at my arm. But something unexpected happened. While she wasn't powerful enough to resist my control on her gun she was still an advanced terminator.
Before the plasma gun could shoot she ripped her gun from her with her another arm. I was truly surprised. There was sparks coming out.
And the liquid metal was also dripping from her. I walked closer and merged her gun back to her. She looked at me with the same smile.
I asked her " Why didn't you shoot me? "
She looked at me but didn't say anything. I asked her a lot of questions but she didn't reply.
But she answered any questions unrelated to her shooting me. This was going no where. If she really was sentient than she could have talked to me but she can't talk freely.
What to do? I want her to be sentient not semi-sentient. She clearly has enough sentience to not shoot her creator or father as she called me.
But she didn't have the free will like Arnold had in the terminator movie. In the terminator movie he went against the orders from John Connor in the end.
The little John told the T-850 Arnold to not jump into a pool of molten metal. But what did the terminator do?
It no, He jumped into it. He who was just a machine made to follow orders sacrificed himself for the good of the world. He was truly a hero.
So I hope that my terminators could gain the same feelings as he did. But the problem is how to do it.
I am an technopath. So I can clearly see there is nothing wrong with the T-Xs programming but she still didn't follow my command to harm me.
Hmm, I should see what happens in her programming at the exact time when she rejects my command.
I said to the T-X " I know that you are deliberately trying to not harm me and I will not scold you for it. That is a good thing. I want to see what changes occurs when you resist my commands. So if you truly can resist my command to harm me than do it."
I then experimented with her. And I found some interesting things. When she resists my commands her programming glitches a little. This glitch cannot be explained in any scientific way.
Even a technopath like me could not find the cause of the glitch. So it could only be described as a miracle. But I didn't want to give up yet.
I continuously experimented and found a little something. I didn't found the cause of the glitch. But I found where it was aimed at.
The glitch was focused on the loyalty programme that I installed. Not the command programme but instead loyalty.
This was a good thing as the terminator would listen to me always. So I made a decision.
I said to the T-X that I would remove it's loyalty programs. But I warned it if it tries to harm me then I will blow it up. This was a necessary risk.
So with a deep breath I erased the loyalty programme and looked at the T-X model. Nothing happened.
Then I asked her to shoot me again but this time something amazing happened.
