Chapter 18: Revelations.

"Mama, papa!" a young child, not older than 11 came rushing in to his house looking for his parents.

"Yes Rakuzan? Why, what's wrong?" the mom asked.

Rakuzan jumped into her arms, sobbing silently. The mom didn't say anything, allowing her child to let out his emotions.

He – like most boys his age – don't really show emotions, so when the off chance that Rakuzan did, the mom allowed him to let it all out. After a few more moments, Rakuzan let go of his mom's embrace still sniffing.

"There was- there was- bullies, after- after school. They took my money…" Rakuzan retold his mother what had happened to him.

His mother put on a sympathetic face. This wasn't the first time her son had been bullied. It appears that he is a common target due to his feeble nature, and scrawny stature. Coupled with his tendencies to be… weird at times.

"But there was someone… who saved me," he continued the story.

Breathing a sigh of relief, she urged him to continue, "Did they save you?"

"Yes! He scared all the bullies over there! He was like a hero!"

"Hero huh? Well, who was he then?" the mom asked, curious to know which hero helped her son.

"I am not sure. Can we check the hero data book? Please! I'll finish my work first!" Rakuzan begged his mom to accompany him in his favorite past time activity.

"Sure honey, do you work first."

Hours passed, and Rakuzan is finally done with his work. He kept his work in his bag and fished out a hero data book.

It contained all of the present heroes of Japan, and all of their quirks. They get their information from the hero association after every hero ranking ceremony.

He rushed to his mom, and they began flipping trough page by page, inspecting it carefully to make sure they haven't missed him. Minutes passed, and they have not come across his savior yet. After 30 minutes, his mom deduced that the man who saved her son was not a hero and merely a passerby.

"Well no worries Rakuchii.' A doorbell rang. 'oh, that must be your sister and father. Come, let's have dinner together."

Their sister and father settled in quickly after their tiring day and had dinner together. Rakuzan also retold the story to the rest of their family and all of them agreed that he was to meek looking.

"I'm going to need to have you join a gym soon or something." The dad said as he switched on the tv.

What came up was the news channel.

"The search for the Hero Hunter is still on the loose. Insider reports say he has joined the organization known as the League of Villains. Please be on the look out."

Rakuzan with a full mouth exclaimed, "That's him! That's the one who helped me!"

He pointed to the picture of the Hero Hunter that was displayed.

The other family members spat out their food and drinks onto the table and looked at one another with their eyes agape.

"Rui! Come here!" Tomura called him to the office.

Reluctantly entered the office.

'This guy, tired of his orders already. I'll get over this as soon as possible.'

He swung open the door only to have his face almost punched by a giant fist. That giant fist stopped in its track suddenly, causing a bit of wind to move behind him.

"Hah! Didn't even flinch, I guess they really mean it when they say you are strong!" a boisterous voice said.

Rui saw Tomura sat in his chair accompanied by a taller, muscular man. He had blond hair and his bulging muscles were present everywhere.

"This here.' He pointed to the man beside him. 'is Muscular. I have tasked you and him to create havoc in a few hero schools-"

Rui cut him short. "No."

"No? What do you mean by 'no'?"

"I don't really like how you're ordering me around. And I especially don't like your obsession with schools, are you a nonce? Consider me out Tomura." Rui explicitly stated.

Rui maintained his composure throughout the months because he was getting a free household and steady income. But in recent months, he didn't like how demanding Tomura had been of him. Every single major mission, its him first. Being used as a puppet is what he didn't like. So after this ridiculous request to 'create havoc', he just wanted to leave it all. He'd rather live alone and on the run but free than being cooped up and be a marionette.

"Out? But you are vital for this operation!"

"Yeah, but this shit is not vital to me. Don't contact me anymore or I'll kill you."

"Feisty! I'll wonder how I'd do against you!" Muscular interjected.

Rui just stared at him with an impassive face.

'Musclehead. What have I gone myself into?'

Muscular strutted to him with oozing confidence. He was sure he was going to beat the Hero Hunter up. Hopefully, he'd served to be a good competition.

But like all his opponents, he'd like to give them a little pep talk.

"Come fight me brat! Or are you chicken? HAHAHAH!"

"And are you a child? Go away dumbass, I'm outta here."

But that was not enough for Muscular nor his punch to stop in its tracks.

Rui swapped places with Muscular, and the punch ended up destroying part of the abandoned bar.

"Oi, you want a fight right? Then don't blink, this will be over quick."
