Chapter 18: Chapter 17: Thick Thighs Save Lives
(Authors Note: While not as busy as before, I'm still quite busy. But I promise to upload once at least every two days.)
(Alexander POV)
"Why are the Fatui sending agents here on Dragonspine anyway? I don't think there would be something in this cold and abandoned place that would take their interest." I said as I slowly turned the meat on the makeshift grill inside our base which in reality is just a random cave in one of the mountains that we occupied.
"That was a random question," Chloe said as she watched me take care of the meat.
"Well, I'm not really sure as I was only a low-level agent. But when I heard that The Fair Lady was also sent here, it did get me curious so I went around asking stuff. I mostly got reprimanded saying it was not of my concern and got told to just do my job but I did overhear some high-ranked agents that they were looking for Durin's remains. I don't know who that is though. Must be someone important for them to even try to recover his/her remains." Chloe said as she gulped as she smelled the aroma coming from me taking care of the meat.
"The Fair Lady? A harbinger is here?" I said with a sigh of relief. Good thing I was not impulsive and went straight to duke it out with the Fatui members on Dragonspine. I know La Signora would be present on Mondstadt a year from now, but I was not sure where would she be coming from. Good job me.
"Yeah, I kinda idolize her you know. The Fair Lady was really pretty. A real lady with power and elegance." She said while her eyes were glued to the meat.
"Don't worry, you just need some practice. All you lack right now is power, you are already pretty enough." I gave a random compliment as I know women liked compliments. Gonna need to make the party members happy so they won't leave to join another party.
With a slightly blushed face, Chloe removed her eyes from my meat as a flustered voice came out of her mouth. "Uwaaaaaahhh".
"It's done. Here eat up." I said while handing Chloe a bowl with grilled meat and potatoes.
She took it and we both ate our food peacefully in a silent but not awkward manner.

(Alexander POV)
After finishing breakfast, the two of us traveled towards the innermost region of Dragonspine. The current goal was to explore while looking for treasures and grinding mobs.
Unlike the game, it seems it is only me that has a system, I seriously thought that everyone would have the level system. 'Some worlds from the novels I read have those global level systems so I thought it would be the same here.' I said to myself as I pondered about where the system came from.
I find it weird that a system had magically attached to me. Hell, it's weirder to get sent to Teyvat just after pulling for Qiqi and sleeping. 'Thought for another time I guess' I said before pulling Chloe into a corner to hide from the group of Fatui Agents.
Hugging her tight as I blended with the snow. This was a neat trick I learned a couple of days ago. Using the same principle, I used when sneaking into Chloe's camp. I tried to apply it while slightly buried in the snow. It took me about an hour to perfect it as hiding in the snow turned out harder than the darkness variant.
Chloe was surprised by the sudden pull and hug. Her whole face was red but kept silent as she saw a group of six Fatui agents passing by. Still wearing her Cryo Cicin Mage outfit as the only clothing she had was five pairs of this particular set of clothing, we had to evade Fatui members.
It would be troublesome if she got questioned or if someone recognized her. Staying still we waited for them to pass.
"It's sad that The Fair Lady had departed early. I still wanted a view of her damn dump truck. Those swaying hips as she passes by." Said Agent 1.
"A pity indeed, I still wanted to see those dem juicy thighs." Said Agent 2.
"Whoa, careful brother, you will die if she hears that. But her premium boobas rocks. Heh, you get what I'm sayin." Said Agent 3
"Nah, thick thighs save lives. Although, I'd gladly die getting squeezed by those thighs." Said Agent 2
"Nah, you guys don't understand. It's her feet that's the best! Imagine getting stepped on by those." Said Agent 4
"Yeah, imagine being looked down upon with those sexy eyes as she spits on your face white sniffing her feet. I'm getting hard just by imagining it." Said Agent 5
"Fucking freaks. Am I the only one who enjoys vanilla here?" Said a lamenting Agent 6
The Fatui agents continued with their freaky conversation as they passed by. I lowered my gaze to the now stiff Chloe, from her neck to her ears, she was all red. I can already imagine smoke would be coming out of her head if that was possible, sadly this was not an anime world so no weird anime logic is at play.
"Are you ok Chloe?" I said to her as I let go of the hug when the Agents had already gone far away from our hiding spot.
"Mmmmm" She cutely nodded her head while letting out a cute sound.
I chuckled as we continued walking towards the inner parts of the snowy region. I took out a Sunseta for a quick snack and asked her if she wanted one which she simply said no. Shrugging my shoulders, I opened my mouth to take a big bite of the fruit.
As I ate, Chloe said something that made me cough as I spit the food in my mouth.
"Mmmm, do you like boobs, hips, thighs or maybe feet?" She said as her voice continued to get lower while her face turned redder with every word coming out of her cute little mouth.
