Chapter 2: Cheating?

Sometimes, thinking is not enough, so you have to shout it out. And I am serious.
With no memories of my past life, I feel like I am now bound to this world... no, it's more correct to say that I am bounded to Inazuma. The caretakers are really good people here, I play a lot with my fellow orphans, and even if the orphanage is poor a few people here and there help us.
But then, as I am ten years old, I can only continue like so for two years more, as here, in Inazuma, once you are twelve you are considered no more a child and can sustain yourself, while once you reach fourteen, you're an adult.
Generally, almost everyone reaching twelve is going to work like helping in the kitchen of a restaurant, or helping shops here and there, without a stable job for a bit. Only a few become adventurers in search of hidden treasures in ruins and domains.
My subconscious tells me that being the presence of the Adventurer Guild in a fantasy world is clichè, but this stops here. And while I was sure that for me it could be really good to become an adventurer, I decided to take another path.
This is not a light decision, as I thought for at least a year before deciding what to do, as I actually saw the overall situation.
Nothing too big, but in a way, it's more than a bit disconcerting for me and everyone from Inazuma.
In a way, you could see that while every power is on the shogun, she doesn't do much other than a few things, as almost everything nowadays is managed by the tri-commission.
Only when at least two of the three commissions vote to lay the final decision to her eternal excellence, does she make the decision, but everything else is not told to her. This problem is natural as everyone has a bit of greed in their hearts, but because the corruption is spreading, they started to accumulate power at the cost of the citizen tranquil lives.
So, I will request the Shogun to create what you could say a 'Ninja squad' to send important pieces of information directly to the shogun, hidden from prying eyes.
Well, right now is impossible because I don't have any proficiency in stealth, lesser said about being a full-fledged ninja.
But I'm happy about the chances I have in the future, as my cheat will help me in a few ways.
I don't know in what consists specifically, but I know that I have memories of being a proficient samurai with a sword made from sun-kissed iron, and few of them not only one.
If it ends here, then there could not be any problem, but it's not everything at all. Apart from that, every time I get a memory, something else also happens, like having the talent for a specific style, reinforcing a sense from the six that I have, obtaining other memories, and even using the said element in an attack.
Yes, while every demon slayer in the corp train to a specific breath style, they don't use any element and they only use their body. But that's false for me, as when I used the Water Style for the first time, a flow of water was carved.
Yes, I don't have a vision, but I can control the elements, and probably even the ones that aren't present in this world, and I have to say, It's hella cool. I don't know how this works, but for now, I'll only say that it's because of the gift from the god or whatever entity I encountered.
Anyway, now I am training my stamina while using the Total Concentration Breathing: Constant. While using that technique can boost strength, speed, stamina, dexterity, durability, reaction time, and focus, it can also be used to gain a bonus in training speed in those. I am currently focusing on stamina because focusing on it before would help me in what is my primary objective to form my secret squad.
And so, eight seasons passed, and the day of my debut was arriving.
