"I should bring it upstairs. Need to get it to be familiar with the apartment."

After spending quite some time in the breakroom, Lucas told Liliana that he would bring the kitten to his apartment. The orange fluff ball was still nestling on her lap, now curiously staring at the floor.

"En... let me help you carry the bags," replied Liliana, mentioning the plastic bags she got from buying the items for the kitten.

"I can carry them," Lucas reached out for the bags after standing up. He held them all in his right hand. Looking at Liliana, he asked, "Well, can you carry it with you, Boss Xin?"

"...okay."

Blinking, Liliana took a momentary pause before she agreed. She didn't point out that Lucas could hold the kitten in his other hand.

"I think it's drowsy," Liliana carefully put the small kitten in her arms, "Should we make it some milk before that?"
