Chapter 32: Eat in Your Room

A few minutes later, the school bell rang.

All of the students went back to their seats.

Their two classes in the afternoon were finance, but Connor was not interested in finance.

Moreover, Connor felt like all he had to know was how much money he had left in his bank account, so it was not necessary for him to learn any of this at all. Hence, he lied on the desk and slept.

Spencer and Dominic were a little shocked to see Connor sleeping. 

After all, Connor had always been a hardworking and studious person in their eyes. However, he was actually sleeping in class right now. 

Connor had been so hard working in the past purely because he wanted to get a scholarship.

However, the harsh reality was that the college's scholarships were all internally reserved for students that came from influential backgrounds. Connor would never get one no matter how hard he tried.
