Chapter 1: chapter 1

Life can be like a bird, we can hope each day to free from society's cage, join a flock where we can fit in as the rest, or be a crow as lonely as it is free we get to be.
Looking up in the sky so bright I squint my eyes look down at the ground and walk on the concrete floor even though it's reces I have nowhere to join I walk around the playground looking at the concrete finding my balance, I can hear my peers chattering, and laughing as they play in the park on my 5th round around the playground my teacher heads over to me, I can feel her gaze as she walks over me, I keep walking ignoring her gaze as she keeps following me.
"Sasha..."
I stopped and slowly turned around "yes miss?"
"Why don't you go play with the other kids?" her face showed genuine worry, she was the most nicest teacher in the 4th grade, she worried for her students and the students respected her.
"I want to walk around...?" I responded trying to hide the lonelyness in my face.
I had always been the lonely kid of the class and nobody bothered to look at me once after the fight with Sindy. She usually tried to bully me from 2nd grade to 3rd grade when she could but one day stopped, after I got the courage to tell her off she slapped my face, tears made it to my face but it dint hurt, it was anger and frustration I had accumulated from that year that made me snap.
I punched her on her face two times after that my body moved on it's own, my tears started to run as a river, I had jumped over her and it was a one sided beat down while I was crying over her one kid from 5th grade saw the fight and tried to pull me off her but, somehow he triped on a rock and as he fell a sharp stick penetrated his hand the teachers heard the screams of agony from him and saw a mess when they arrived.
That day the teachers had told my parents partially everything that happened they even blamed me for the fifth grader's injury even when he fell on it's own. It was not my fault that he could not walk straight, I heard from the teachers that Sindy was missing her 2 of her teeth and her face was beaten to a pulp.
One of my friend named George came by to talk once in a while but left me when he joined the boys to go play. In 4th grade the teacher was new and nice her name was Miraval her classes where easy to understand but sometimes things got difficult when there where group projects, she tried her best to make me integrate with the class.
I was reluctant since Sindy made the class see me as the monster there, kids would glare at me when I walked by and sometimes stick their foot out so I could trip, depending on the mood I was on I would evade it or stomp on their foot and after some time everyone stopped sticking out their foot and evaded me instead.
"Sasha...
Sasha...
are you okay?"
I blinked a few times from my daze
"Y-yes"
I sheeplesly responded
"Class is almost time to start come on"
I nooded and ran inside.
