Synopsis

"Gods are nothing more than mortals who’ve treated everyone around them as an insect . . . They’ve kicked our hives long enough. It’s time they felt our sting.”

On an otherwise ordinary day, the Gods suddenly sought amusement, and initiated a game unlike any before. The gods chose specific mortals to bestow their divine abilities, granting humans powers far surpassing their wildest imagination.

However, true to the gods' nature, there is always a twist involved, as they never wished for anything to be too easy.

Yet, this gift came with a harrowing twist — the emergence of mysterious dungeons scattered across the world. Within these treacherous labyrinths lurked formidable monsters, threatening to unleash chaos and devastation upon humanity if left unchecked.

In the blink of an eye, the world underwent a profound transformation. Everything, from the established systems to the very fabric of society, was upheaved.

Seth, a man whose days were spent toiling to support himself and his brother, found himself swept up in this whirlwind of change.

However, his life took a tragic turn when the first dungeon materialized, claiming millions of lives in its wake, including his own. Reduced to a cripple, robbed of both arms, and devoid of any divine blessing, Seth resigned himself to a fate of ordinary existence.

Yet, a Goddess had other plans in store for him.

[Nyctara, the Goddess of nocturnal animals, predators, and instincts, have blessed you with a gift]

Well, brace yourselves for a review that's as brutally honest as a toddler with a marker and a white wall. Here's what you can expect from this literary rollercoaster: Writing Quality: Get ready for a wild ride through a jungle of grammar errors and simple English that's so basic, it makes a kindergarten textbook look like Shakespeare. But hey, who needs fancy words when you've got raw, unfiltered storytelling power, right? Verdict: 5 out of 5 stars! Because who needs perfection when you've got pizzazz? Stability of Updates: Hold onto your hats, folks, because this author's update schedule is as unpredictable as a squirrel on a sugar rush. One minute you're waiting for a chapter, the next you're drowning in a deluge of surprise bonus content if you bribe with gifts. It's like Christmas morning, but with more procrastination. Verdict: Another perfect score! Because who doesn't love Gifts? Story Development: Get ready for a journey through the land of tropes, my friends. We're talking systems, games, overpowered protagonists, and more clichés than a rom-com marathon. But fear not, dear reader, because sprinkled amidst the familiar are twists and turns that'll keep you on the edge of your seat. Verdict: Yet another flawless rating! Because clichés are like comfort food for the soul. Character Design: Meet our protagonist: the epitome of cool, handsome, and emotionally unavailable. Because why settle for an overpowered main character who's warm and fuzzy on the inside? It's all about that icy exterior and brooding demeanor, baby. Verdict: Perfect score! Because who needs emotions when you've got style? World Background: Welcome to a modern world with a dash of fantasy tossed in for good measure. Sure, it's nothing groundbreaking, but who needs originality when you've got towers and galaxies to explore? Besides, why waste time planning when you can just make it up as you go? Verdict: Five stars all around! Because who needs coherence when you've got imagination? Sincerely, - SavageQuill, the mastermind behind this literary masterpiece (or disasterpiece, depending on who you ask).

Really nice job, the writing is really easy to read and imagine. The only reason it’s not five stars is because I thought the world and character were too simple/cliche. The cripple bag holder with family in the hospital seems bland, overdone, and didn’t need 5+ chapters to get started. Same thing for the powersystem, I wish you had shown how it worked in the first couple chapters instead of simply telling us what was happening around the world. Only giving a critique because it was truly great writing, and I think this has really good potential. My only wish is for you give the backstory/world building more originality and showing through dialogue or action rather than telling through narration.
