"Oi, Kakazu, is he strong?"
"No, he's only elite-jonin. He's barely qualified for even that."
"Oh, let me take this one Kakazu, should be fun."
"Yeah, just make sure to preserve the head, you know the drill."
"Yeah, yeah, you and your money."
Asuma's face darkened."Shikamaru, you, Ino, and Choji should run right now."
"What! No way sensei! How could we leave you?!"
Munch."Yeah, how could we leave you sensei!"
"Sensei, I'm guessing these guys are the Akatsuki we were looking for."
"Yes, he's stronger than we thought. If what the monk said is true, then the blood he's covered in is Chiriku's and he has no injuries. Only scrapes and bruises. We're not enough for this."
"Sorry sensei, but if they're as strong as they say you are, then there's no way we're leaving and you surviving by yourself."
Asuma sighed. "Yeah, I gu-"
He didn't get to finish when sparks flew in the air.
"Oh, you blocked that? You have at least some skill."
Hidan swiftly swung his blade overpowering Asuma. He then suddenly jumped up.
"Partial Expansion Jutsu!"
As he was about to land a giant hand was coming straight for him. He quickly maneuvered his body so his back was facing the ground to get more air time. He swiftly kicked off the hand and flew backward.
Hidan started to cough. "What the heck is this, is this ash?"
"Fire Style. Ash Pile Burning!"
The ash exploded blowing up the area they were in.
"Dang, you guys have some crazy teamwork. There is however one flaw."
Hidan then rushed to a nearby bush and quickly slashed at it. The girl from earlier quicky jumped out of it escaping with only a small cut on her forearm.
"Ino, you must be more careful."
"Yes, sens-"
She couldn't finish her sentence when her eyes rolled to the back of he head and she fell to the ground, dead.
"I-I-Ino."
Tears quickly gathered in the ninja's eyes.
"How, How dare you!"
"Multi-Expansion Jutsu!"
"Oh, the fatty got fatter."
"Human-Boulder Jutsu"
Choji rapidly rolled at Hidan. Hidan quickly dodged the blow wanting to see what would happen. It however was a mistake.
"Fire Style: Ash Pile Burning!"
An explosion went off, almost two times bigger than the last.
"Sorry Kakazu, I think my arm needs to be tied back on."
"Of course it does, you're so reckless you idiot."
"Yeah, whatever you say walking corpse."
A rumble sounded and a huge boulder came straight at Hidan. Hidan then quickly slashed at the boulder, gaining a huge fountain of blood spraying everywhere.
"Damn it Choji!"
Kakazu sighed. "Another one bites the dust. Too bad they don't have bounties, you unknown brats."
The boulder quickly stopped and Choji fell to the ground, dead.
"Just you two left, I wonder who goes first, the teacher, or the student."
They both quickly rushed at Hidan anger evident in their eyes. Hidan slashed at both of them at the same time, blood filled the air.
Hidan licked the blade. "Too bad, it was fun while it lasted."
*Thud* *Thud*
"Oi, Kakazu, this guy's is 35 million right?"
"Yeah! Hurry up, throw me the head."
"After you fix my arm you walking corpse."
"Well come here you idiot."
"Ahhhhh, that feels good. Here's his head."
"Well let's go turn this in. Then we can go do what we came for."
"Yeah, and I can get washed up. This blood is starting to clot up."
A few weeks later
"Oi, walking corpse, you said there was a bounty in the land of wood right?"
"Yes, elite-jonin Sosuba, worth 10 million."
"Quite high for someone from a small ninja village."
"Yes, it is most intriguing. It, however, matters not, he has a high bounty so I'm going to grab it."
"Yeah, you better hope someone doesn't take it before you."
"Tch, if I found someone taking my bounty he would live a life of hell."
Hidan laughed hysterically. "Well speak of the devil, isn't that the bounty being taken right there?"
Kakazu quickly looked to where Hidan was pointing only to widen his eyes in disbelief. He then disappeared only to reappear next to Sosuba. With one strike, his head was clean off his shoulders.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing with my bounty!?"
"Huh? Do you openly say it's your bounty in front of me? Do you know who I am?"
"It doesn't matter! You're going to die anyw-"
Blood sprayed in the air as a red blade flew back to where Hidan was located.
"Man that guy was so annoying. Couldn't get any louder than that."
"Yes, let's hurry to the bounty station. Time is money after all."
Kakazu and Hidan both disappeared in a flash. What they didn't notice however was a blond-haired kid quickly reappearing where they last were.
"Damn it! I missed them again. I swear I must get revenge for you Shikamaru. Believe it!"
