Chapter 24: Training Room
Having changed back to his work out attire, Feng took out the platinum membership card and played around with it a little.
The advantages of being reborn sure are good thought Feng. It would be impossible for him to gain such benefits at this stage of his life in his previous life.
Ding-Ding, Level 5.
The lift door opened to a long and winding walkway. Red carpets decorated the floor, and the walls were decked in a black cushion material.
Warm white LED strips light up the floor while lamps o the same colour temperature were mounted on the wall every few metres. The decor on this floor gives one a luxurious but cold vibe.
There was no staff stationed on this floor to provide assistance base on his first impression. Doors can be found on both side of the wall every few meters, but there were no labels to indicate what the room is for.
The only information Feng could discern from the doors were the words Empty (with green background) or In Use (red background) that is being displayed on an LCD screen in the upper centre of the door.
"looks like no one will be here to tell me anything", Feng muttered as he approached a door that had an LCD screen emitting green light and the words Empty on it.
With a scan of his platinum member card on the LCD screen, the door unlocked itself. Opening the now slightly ajar door, all that greeted Feng was an empty room.
hmmmm.....Feng wondered as he stepped into the room before closing the door behind him.
"Welcome, Lin Feng", a voice boomed from the speakers embedded into the ceiling.
"This is Elsa, your training assistant. As this is your first time within the Black Eagle training system, I would be your guide. All commands are voice-activated within the room."
A list of bullet point wording appeared on the empty wall as soon as the voice stopped speaking. The words were easy to understand, such as training menu, start, quit, help etc. and did not need much explanation from the guide.
"Training menu!" Feng said after reading the words on the wall.
Reacting to his commands, the wording changed once again. Spar, Video Tutorial, Situational training etc

Once again, a new set of commands came up: Calf kick, Sudden Accelerate, Focal Strength, Gi Choke and more appeared.
Seeing the list, Feng's eye raised. It is a list of simple martial arts move that one could incorporate into their fights, and it was something crucial, especially in Gods Art.
Even in his previous life, he had only gained partial access to them by studying other experts' movement within the game using the video function. Having a system to train him was something he had not expected to be available.
Even 20 years in the future, he had not heard of anyone with such a system. Seeing the system in front of him, he finally understood that there were still lots of things he did not know.
As mentioned, Gods Art near-perfect synchronisation in the future allows for one to bring real-life movement into the game fighting system as such many martial arts expert and even professional fighters joined the game.
Why else is Feng training so hard but to improve his reaction and movement to fight better in the game?
Looking at the selection, there is one that piques Feng's interests the most, beginner Qing Gong. However, he resisted the temptation and chose the one he was most familiar with in his previous life.
"Focal Strength"
"Selection acknowledge....playback in 5….4….3….2…..1."
As soon as the count down ends, the room fell into darkness. A Hologram appeared in front of Feng as it begins to move and a voice booms from the speaker, teaching the person watching in real-time.
A 3D tutorial? Feng's eyes raise as he thought about it. This is something that he never had access too before. His learning experience in his previous life is from the countless fights he had engaged in Gods Art.
The tutorial that he had chosen was actually a subject he is familiar with. It basically allows a person to focus all their strength on a single quick attack, as the name suggests. In the game, what it translates to is actually a critical hit.
Depending on the skillfulness of the user, the damage increase can differ. Feng had managed to hit a 95% skill completion rate for this skill in his past. However, from what the Hologram is teaching, the skill completion rate is at 100%, which is the highest known rate in the game of Gods Art.
Jumping into learning, Feng allowed the hologram image to overlap his as he moves base on his memory to figure out the differences in movement. To his surprise, with each minor variation in his action from that of the system, a minor zap is sent to his nervous system to indicate the error.
Soon he got immersed in the learning experience, and time passes at a rapid rate. By the time he managed to correct his movement to reach 96%, the sun had gone down. While immersing in the training, his stomach soon grumbled.
Reluctantly, he left the 5th floor before leaving the fitness centre after a quick clean up. He left the building. Unlike his regular routine, he took a slow walk home, enjoying the cool air as spring begins to creep up.
As he strode home, the training images earlier replayed in his mind. While physically walking, Feng repeatedly engages in mental training.

Xin Yu and Liu Yu Han had arrived back at Xin Ru's home after all the ruckus they had caused at the bar. As soon as Feng walked out of the lift door, the perfume of the 2 ladies hit his nose of which one he is very familiar with.
Glancing at the table before them, he saw bottles of red wine empty as the 2 ladies sat on the white sofa, face flushed from the alcohol.
"YA!" A shout came from the sofa as Liu Yu Han stood up.
"You little cheeky brat!" walking towards Feng, her movement a little staggered Liu Yu Han clasp her wine glass in one hand while the other pointed at him.
Her body is swaying as she walks. The black one-piece dress that was too short to hide much before had hiked up to reveal a semi-transparent laced black panty below.
The panty's design had ensured the important parts were covered, but her mount and butt were exposed by the translucent fabric.
While he could not see the important bits, a hint of her trimmed bushes was showing.
Trying to keep his calm, he looked beyond her and spotted Xin Ru sitting on the sofa elegantly, legs crossed against each other as her head rests on her palms and her beautiful lips twisting a little.
Having drunk too much, she had shared a little more than she had intended to Liu Yu Han. While there really was no need for the 2 best friends to hide anything from each other, the knots in her heart needed a listening ear.
After all her confession to Liu Yu Han, she felt a lot better until Feng appeared. She felt a little embarrassed, a little angry, a little confused, probably a little of every feeling she could feel. Such that no one word can describe her feelings right now.
Seeing Xin Ru sitting on the sofa with no intention to move or talk, Feng wondered what he could have done to make Liu Yu Han approach him aggressively.
However, no matter how he racked his brains, he could think of none. Even with his previous life experience, the heart and mind of 2 beautiful ladies are beyond his abilities to guess.
Walking up, Liu Yu Han soon arrives before Feng. Possibly due to the alcohol, or perhaps she had intended to do so, the distance between her and Feng when she had stopped was barely 4 fingers away.
She looked at Feng as if he was an alien for her to study, glancing from the top of his head to his neck, his left ear to his right as if by studying him she would make a breakthrough in some scientifical study.
Feng stood still as she did her "study", allowing her fragrance to assault his nose as he gets a peek of her cleavage from time to time due to her low cut front. Compared to Xin Ru, Liu Yu Han barely B cup breast is nothing, but small boobs have their own charm.
