Chapter 18: 18. Leaving
It's been a year since the Barbecue party. Alex was able to solve the conflict between the girls somewhat. They just designated days to accompany and decided to not get in each other's way.
'Man that was tough. I still have have a headache when I think of that'. Alex wiped the sweat on his forehead as he looked at himself in the mirror.
He was growing quite well and had already started a good buff going. 'My power is already a few megaton. I can pump this whole mansion on my head without breaking a sweat'.
'Haaa, Bruce left so early. I wonder what he is doing?' Alex thought as he reminisced.
——Flashback——
'Hmm, there is some activity'. Alex thought as he peeked through the door at what was going on.
'Where's Brother going?' He thought as he silently got out of the room and saw Bruce slipping away from the mansion.
'Hmm, a letter. Guess it's time huh'. Alex thought as he didn't stop Bruce and just picked up the letter.
[ Alex and Alfred,
I am going out to find a purpose. To fight for what I feel is right. Don't worry about me. I will be back when I have done all I can.
Make sure to take care of yourselves.

"Don't worry brother, by the time you come back. I might be able to unlock Avalon and heal Mom and Dad". Alex said as he put the letter back on the table for Alfred.
He just got back to his room as he felt sad that the last relative he had in this world was also going on a long trip.
'Guess, I should start taking care of the League as well'. Alex thought as he slipped into sleep thinking about the League.

In the morning, Alex held a loud voice calling for him. He woke up as he started walking towards the lounge.
"Master Alex". Alfred called his name as he saw him coming.
"What is it Alfred?" Alex asked as he yawned a bit while stretching his arms.
"Master Bruce left a letter". Alfred said as he handed the letter to Alex with a sad smile.
"I know Alfred, I saw it last night". Alex said as he looked over to Alfred and patted his shoulder.
"This is what brother wanted to do. So let him do it, I'm sure, he will be fine". Alex gave Alfred's shoulder a little squeeze and let go as he went to go to his room to get ready for school.
'Only the four of them can help me with my sadness'. Alex thought with a wretched smiled as he quickly got ready to go.
He asked Alfred to drop him off as he can't really take the car to school so brazenly. The school was a prestigious school for the rich.

Alex was sitting in the car. Alfred was dropping him off to school today.
Barbara was able to get in on scholarship and a bit of talking to by Gordon. She was smart and actually ranked first in the whole year on school.
'I am just going there for the girls' sake anyway'. Alex shrugged as he sat beside Alfred in the car.
They quickly arrived at the school as Alex waved to Alfred and got out of the car. Hancock was with him as he had picked her up on the way.
She was clinging to his arm with a smile on her face. "Dear, is something bothering you?" She asked as she felt the change in Alex's mood today.
"Hah, it's nothing. Brother left on today's date and I don't know when he will be back". Alex sighed as he thought about it. He spent eleven years with Bruce and after so long, not having that person close to you gets a bit lonely.
"Don't worry Dear, Elder Brother will be fine". Hancock squeezed Alex's arm a bit tighter to herself as she comforted him.
"I know". Alex patted her head and got into the school.
He reached the class and saw the girls already making their usual circle with their desks around his.
Alex desk was in the center while the girls sat in all four directions of him. Barbara on his right, Hancock on his left, Pamela in the front and Selina in the back.
"Hey guys". Alex said as he gave each of them a hug and a kiss. After finishing the greeting, Alex sat down in his chair.
"Umm Alex". Pamela called Alex softly as he looked at her.
"Hmm". Alex quirked his eyebrow in acknowledgment.
"Can you take me to the Wayne building. I want to visit the botanical garden there". Pamela asked with expectations in her eyes.
"So a Date huh". Alex asked with a teasing smile as he looked at her.
"Y-yes". Pamela nodded with a shy smile.
"Well, I'll tell Alfred to make the arrangements". Alex said as he got up from the chair and moved out of the class to make the call.
*Ring*
"Hey Alfred".
"Yes master Alex".
"I want to take Pamela to the Botanical Garden in the Wayne Office Building. Ask them to make arrangements". Alex gave the instructions and cut the call after getting affirmation.
Getting back to the class, he made an ok sign at Pamela and sat back in his seat. There was a big smile on Pamela's face when she saw Alex's confirmation.
The other girls except Hancock were a bit jealous but they didn't say anything. Hancock on the side had a smile on her face and had no worry of Pamela grabbing her spot as the eldest sister in Harem.
The school went on like usual with some boys trying to flirt with Alex's girls and Alex giving them a fist of love in return.
"Sat away, you vermin". Hancock on the other hand was like a dominatrix of the school and some of the perverts would smile when she insulted them.
Alex had taken care of quite a lit of them with his fear manipulation and made them traumatised for life and they never dared to get near Hancock ever again.
Some of them even shit their pants and went off crying and weeping when they felt the fear from Alex but there are always courageous ones that don't regard a warning.
So Alex makes sure to keep it set in their minds firmly through some good lecturing and torture.
