Suddenly, he lifted his head and stared in front of him. Avina held her breath as she felt his gaze on her. Her heart beat in trepidation wondering what was going through his mind. But then, he lowered his head as if it was nothing.

Dad walked over to his desk and lowered his elbows to rest on top. His wrinkled hands reached towards the nearest tool before focusing on the small music box in front of him. His head lowered considerably until the slightest peek of his eyes was a rarity.
