After several hours of switching between buses and subways, the trio, one human and two spirits, finally returned home.

Cheering, Qin Lang, cradling the five pounds of recently delivered beef brisket, made a beeline for the kitchen.

Anticipation filled his eyes.

At the Beef Tasting Banquet, while tasting the beef brisket, Qin Lang had found that the tenderness of the mixed breed cow's brisket was even better than he had imagined.

If it hadn't been for the fact that Eighteen-Second Beef wasn't suitable for brisket, he'd have loved to try cooking with this new breed's brisket right then and there.

But it was not too late now.

He cut about two pounds of the beef brisket, put the remaining portion in the fridge.

"Alright, time for us to get busy."

Qin Lang skilfully cut the beef brisket into chunks and put them in cold water to be parboiled.
