Chapter 49: Chapter 49 Gambling and Fighting Part 7

His current dissipation power was much better. As he continued to concentrate, his body slowly disappeared instead of disappearing completely. Lucas remained in place, only his body was invisible. He could attack Max with the power of vanishing.

From such a close distance, Max wouldn't notice the unexpected attack. His hands clenched into fists, his mana aura focused on his fists. Lucas was ready to strike, but he only hit empty air. It wasn't his punch that hit Max. Instead, Max kicked him with his iron-covered leg.

Lucas fell far and nearly left the arena. If he hadn't controlled his body to stay on the edge of the arena, he might have lost by now. His face was hit by a kick, and blood stains were clearly visible.

His disappear ability might be able to make his entire body disappear, but not his mana aura. It's possible that Max is using higher detection technology. Some technological weapons can now be combined with the mana aura that only a wizard has. However, Lucas remembered very well that he completely hid his presence when he attacked the basilisk.

Body temperature detector? Perhaps human body temperature can't be easily fooled. He really is strong. Lucas admitted that his opponent this time was indeed strong, even though Max was not a wizard.

From here, Lucas had to be careful, and he reappeared. Attacking with Supernova is not possible, it requires collecting mana aura and a lot of time. Lucas used his punching skills and attacked at close range.

The mana aura continued to flow in his body. Lucas ran to avoid the laser attacks coming from Max's iron fist. The laser and electric attacks only attacked from one direction. By avoiding this one-way attack, Lucas was able to get close to Max.

Lucas jumped as high as he could to avoid the electric attack. The blow hit Max's iron fist. But he began to feel uncomfortable. Strong and tough. The iron covering Max's hand is made of very hard material. I used my mana aura as much as I could, but I can't damage this iron fist.

At close range, Max decided to attack with his hands and feet covered in technological iron.

Lucas felt echoes and vibrations from each blow and his body shook. A force Lucas had never felt before was effective enough to make several parts of his body ache. The combination of the robot armor technology integrated into Max's body and his martial arts skills can be quite a powerful attack.

Max lowered his body, using his iron armor-covered legs. He kicked Lucas' leg. He delivered a small attack that caused Lucas to lose his footing and fall to the arena floor. He didn't stop there. The iron-armored foot nearly stepped on his face. Lucas rolled to the side.

If Lucas wasn't a wizard and had to face Max with his bare hands, he might have lost by now, or worse. The only chance to destroy the iron armor was to use Supernova, his blow, strengthened by the mana aura, did not damage the iron armor covering Max's hands and feet at all.

No need. Lucas can use deceptive attacks while Max uses his iron armor-covered hands to protect his body parts. Lucas aims for his opponent's ribs. However, Lucas felt something very hard, a hard object covering Max's body.

The iron armor hit his face. Lucas fell to the ground again. He thought that his handsome face was out of shape and that there were no more beautiful girls to approach him. It was just a thought in his head. His popularity among academics is not only because of his good looks and being the favorite grandson of someone influential in the government, but also because of his unique talent and tenacity, Lucas can be at the furthest point.

Jab left, punch right. Dodge left, dodge right. Just like that, throwing punches, dodging and defending. What frustrated Lucas the most were the long-range attacks. Atomic explosions and electrical explosions that only attacked in one direction.

Lucas was like a little mouse, jumping up and down from the mines scattered across the arena floor. His two friends watched from the bleachers. Peter had a worried face and Cloe had a cold and annoyed face. Lucas was growing increasingly frustrated with the endless fighting.

He had lost count of how many times he had fallen to the ground with bruises all over his body. The time was ticking, there were only about ten minutes left before the end of the third round.

It wasn't time for Lucas to use Supernova yet, he had to collect mana aura, while Lucas was currently in a desperate situation. When Lucas got a small gap to attack, the small gap disappeared and he was almost hit by an atomic blast. Max used his fist in his right hand and launched an atomic blast in his left hand.

Again, his body falls to the arena floor. Pretty serious injuries to his stomach. The electric attack came at him. Lucas jumped to the side, blood splattering on the ground.

In fact, Lucas is currently suffering the most and is sad because he has a strong opponent. Peter and Cloe were lucky because they were able to increase the strength they had trained for a long time.

Lucas can do it. He had practiced hard, even asking Professor Bathilda to practice directly. Many times he fell, and his injured body reminded him of a memory he had forgotten. Lucas had never been in such a sad and humiliating situation.

The faces of people who despised him, the faces of people who betrayed him. He had never felt such pain, and Lucas would never forgive people who looked at him with contempt.

Mana aura flowed in his body in large amounts. From a distance of five meters, Lucas would not be able to attack Max. Especially attacks from atomic explosions and electrical explosions.

He wouldn't dare come near me after my attack earlier. Only low level wizards would boast of magical powers. I won't lose to him. Max spread his arms and sent out a series of atomic blasts, sending his prey scurrying like rabbits. He felt confident and had the upper hand.

He tricked his opponent into thinking that Lucas could not attack anymore. Of course, he was very wrong and Max didn't realize that someone was depressed and at his lowest point. This man can become stronger.

A wizard can use speed magic techniques depending on how he can adapt his body and of course by practicing hard. This is different from other wizards who have innate magic elements, such as wind or lightning elements, that can increase speed. Professor Bathilda can use speed magic techniques when fighting, as her body has been trained to move faster than a tiger or wolf.

Unfortunately, Lucas couldn't use speed magic techniques. Repeatedly practicing them just doesn't work. However, there was one power that could make him move quickly.

The electric shock only hit the arena floor, which was black and smelled like burning. There was no sound of footsteps. Lucas was in front of Max's eyes, clenching his fists so tightly. More and more snowflakes fell to the ground, strong gusts of wind and a radiant aura emanated from his body. His blue eyes shone like the bright moon. His hands clenched tightly, mana aura gathering in his fists.

The punch produced a very loud bang. The iron armor covering Max's body was destroyed, and Max's body flew far away, hitting the wall until it had a hole in it. Such a great power flowed in his body, the power seemed to fall asleep and wake up when the master felt pressure.
