Chapter 33: Minutes before Stain's arrestation
A few minutes before the reporters took pictures of Kotei giving Stain to the policemen who arrived quickly once they received the information, a peculiar scene happened...
Kotei approached the downed villain and lifted with his quirk, making the unconscious body hover a good meter above the ground.
"I broke a few of his ribs, he probably won't wake up for a few hours." Kotei announced, inspected the villain for any serious injuries he could have suffered.
Since he did not seem in danger, he stopped observing his situation and turned toward the two other boys present.
"Are you alright you two?" He asked, looking at their injuries. They did not look lethal and the way they moved seems like it was the case.
"Ye-yeah, just flesh wounds." Midoriya replied, himself looking at the cut he received during the earlier fight.
Shoto simply nodded in return. The wound Stain has inflicted on his thigh already stopped bleeding.
"Good then." Kotei simply replied, moving toward the main street.
Since he already sent the position to Ryukyu, her arrival with the police and other heroes was only a matter of time.
"Wait!" Shoto called Kotei, making the latest stop in his tracks.
Turning his around, just enough to glance at the bicolor-haired kid, Kotei waited for what he had to say.
"... Do you think that we could have handled him?" Shoto asked, looking at the other teen.
"... Probably." Kotei replied, before continuing to move toward the street.
His figure gradually disappearing before he stopped at the corner and looked at them once again.
"What are you waiting for?" He asked them, seeing that they were still at the same spot.
The two other teens looked at each other before following him.

A few minutes later, some heroes arrived at the scene.
"We received a command from Endeavor and Ryukyu to come to assist but..." "Kids...!?" "Stain!?" "They got awful wounds, call an ambulance!"
Each one of them was first bewildered that the ones requiring assistance were kids, but then they were even more shocked to see the state of the infamous hero killer.
"He is unconscious, take care of him. I will go see if I can find the masterminds." Kotei said, making the villains float toward the nearby heroes before removing the halo binding him.
They then proceeded to tie him with a cord.
The smallest hero present, Gran Torino suddenly had his instinct ring as he saw a dot in the sky moving at high-speed toward them.
"Duck!"
Hearing him, Kotei moved his head toward the threat and was about to blast the winged-nomu out of the sky when several tendrils wrapped all around his body at a split second.
"?!" The sudden attack surprised him greatly as he was brought underground by the unknown foe.
"What?!" The other present did not have the time to react as the winged-nomu grabbed Midoriya, not stopping a moment.
Stain quickly removed the cords restraining him with a knife hidden in his clothes before licking the blood one of its wounds dropped on the face of a hero.
Paralyzed by Stain, the nomu stopped flying before letting Midoriya fall from its talon.
Quickly jumping from the wall of one building and plunge his knife inside the brain of the creature all with successfully catching Midoriya with his other hand.
Once on the ground, he began a little speech about society and villains. His voice was coarse and it seems like if he was on his last breath.
At the same moment, Kotei who was being led more and more underground suddenly used his gravity quirk to form a protective layer around him.
The tentacles were immediately shredded, and the pressure of the earth was erased.
As if sensing the danger, the tentacles began to retreat, wanting to disappear, but Kotei had a better idea.
Using his quirk to set ablaze of the tendrils, he could sense the fire reaching the source of the attack before the person cut the tentacle off, noticing the threat.
However, it was too late.
Since it was very near his position, Kotei drilled through the earth and rocks, ready to neutralize the unknown foe.
Leaving the earth, Nova was emerging from the wall of what seems like a tunnel.
The guy- no the nomu which attacked released a shriek once its many eyes fell upon its target.
Kotei did not waste a single second before slamming fist first inside the monstrosity ball of tentacles.
The power which he used to attack was so great that he completely went through, leaving a melted hole behind.
The nomu stopped moving before it collapsed, with a disgusting wet sound.
"Who would create such a thing?" Kotei asked aloud, looking to see the faintest sign of human activity nearby.
Unfructiful, he simply used his quirk to lift the cadaver and exit through the tunnel.
A few seconds later, he arrived at the scene.
'... What?' Kotei asked himself, seeing that Stain was still conscious and kicking since he saw the body of the nomu near him.
It seems to have been taken down not a minute ago since it still had some spasms and blood gushing from its opened brain.
"Just try it, you pretenders!" He said, stepping ahead.
He was so impressive that everyone's presents either fell on their ass, was too afraid to move, or even took a step back, like the famous hero number 2.
Even the dragon heroine who arrived not too long ago was unmoving, her animalistic sense shouted at her to run.
Kotei quickly descended from the sky, his body shielding everyone present.
"The only one who's allowed to kill me is All Might!" He said, his voice deeper and coarser than ever.
"All Might's fanatics are so annoying." Kotei said, his feet replicating the villain's actions, taking a step ahead.
Soon enough, Kotei straightened his back, leaving his previous stance.
"That's quite anticlimactic." He whispered, walking toward Stain casually.
However, with the heavy silence at the place, they clearly heard his voice.
"Wha-!"
Stopping in front of Stain, Kotei turned around to look at the heroes, paralyzed by the fear and announced.
"That guy... lost consciousness. What are you afraid of? Dumbasses."
