Chapter 5: Aftermath I
Capricorn's POV
I had bonded with my mate the moment we met. Right there at the club when those two had been busy sizing each other up.
Being the first to start a conversation, I had asked for her name and she had whispered it in an ever sweet voice. And when I had used my fake deep voice to tell her my name. She had giggled so sweetly.
"Cap?", she'd asked "as in Captain?"
I had laughed
"No no, Capricorn. My name's Capricorn"
"Then maybe I can call you Corny"
I wheeled back, feeling disgusted at the name.
"Hell no. I like Cap. Cap's fine"
She giggled so beautifully at that.
Right there and then, I knew my mate was a girl.
It didn't matter that she was in oversized genderless clothes or that she was making it look like she was puffing on a cigarette when she wasn't.
Virgo.
I loved her name.
She was so easy to talk to and I being as impatient as I always am was taking initiatuve for Zodiac. I knew he wouldn't appreciate my not consulting him on this but I wasn't about to share this moment with him when he was busy sizing up our little mate as if she would ran.
I decided to confirm from Virgo, if they intended to ran from us and when she said no, I couldn't help but feel myself swell with pride.
Virgo was so sweet. She told me about Ridge, her brother. The beautiful boy sleeping so peacefully on the couch. It was touching to know that her mother had died during childbirth, leaving Ridge in thier care.
When Zodiac had shut me off completely and decided to make her unconscious so he could take her forcefully to our place, I had been completely against the idea. The only time I had been able to communicate with him was when I had been arguing with him before the actual act, when he completely shut me off.
I felt so annoyed at his behavior that I decided to give him a payback at a later date.
And so I helplessly watched him as he carried our mate and left her baby brother.
That idiot was still not listening to me even as I tried to tell him that our mate would never accept us if something happened to her brother. Zodiac was so blind that he didn't even glance at the couch and he most likely did not see the cute snoring child in it.
What an idiot.
Sometimes I just hate that I'm his wolf. Why did I have to put up with him?
I already knew what would happen when she woke up. It would be a disaster but Zodiac deserved whatever was about to come his way.
When our little mate finally woke up, I tried to communicate with Virgo but I couldn't reach her most likely because she had been shut off. Perhaps she had argued with her human.
I knew that things were about to get sour. If she had been cut off, then our mate was definitely about to do something drastic.
And I confirmed it when I felt my balls almost fall off. Where did she learn to kick like that?
Zodiac once again dedided to shut me off when he angrily drove to the club to find her. It was obvious she'd go back there for obvious reasons. But Zodiac thought she would go back because she was a whore, I knew she wanted to ensure her brother was safe.
Then when we had arrived to find some bastard busy having a good time. In that slight window of opportunity, I had been very angry. And that anger had been enough to breach the hold Zodiac had on me briefly so I could communicate with Virgo and when she had asked for help, I had taken brief control and made Zodiac angry enough to punch his face off and pummel the life out of him. That took sheer willpower and I didn't think I could do that a second time in a day.
And then he had finally noticed the baby boy when we got back to the house. Before she could tell him that Ridge was her brother however, he had immediately assumed she had given birth to him.
Again, what an idiot Zodiac is.
I wanted to talk to him but I was already been shut off once again. Then our mate had surprised us by going into heat.
Whiles Zodiac was busy thinking of hesitating about mating our mate who he assumed was a male omega. I was getting impatient to take our very pretty female omega against the wall and making her ours. I could hear her wjines and protests as she struggled to take control from her human.
Even our mate wanted this. She wanted to mate us. Zodiac's control on me bagan to waver as I fought him for it. He struggled briefly and then it happened, I overpowered him and transformed into our big white wolf.
I felt him in the back of my mind as sent off warning signs but I quickly shut him off, just like he did to me earlier. Sweet, sweet payback.
My transformation scared her and when I commanded her to change, she resisted briefly before obeying.
And then we headed deep for the woods, teasing each other as we bonded.
When we finally reached the clearing which was the ritual mating grounds for my pack, I asked her if she was sure she wanted this.
She had responded positively and tgen offered herself freely by laying down in submission.
Last warning sounds resounded in my mind but I wasn't even trying to block them anymore as I focused my attention on our beautiful nate before me.
She was so beautiful and ready to mate.
I leaned in closer and made her mine.
And then I discovered something else... something that made me very happy even though it wouldn't have mattered otherwise.
She was a virgin. Our mate was our first and we were her first.
