Chapter 2: Lore of the Centaur Deity, Hylos
In the highest mountains there lived a Centaur Chieftain and a Fountain Nymph. The two only existed there through the power of the Fountain of Life and it is said that two creatures that are in Love, Deep and Profound shall bear a foal that will live in eternity with the Fountain.
One Misty Night came, The Fountain drew dark waters where the Nymph slept, A Creature appeared. With the nymph in shock, she shouted that the Centaur would break from it's sleep. The Centaur ran with great speed and tackled the creature, wielded his ax and Cleave through the creature's flesh.
The Nymph fell in love with the heroic Centaur and the Chieftain is now on duty to protect the fountain and the nymph.
After a Millenia, The two created Temples and Structures to provide shelter and to maintain the gifts of the Fountain. Their love grew stronger and bear the Centaur of the prophecy, Hylos.
