Chapter 26: The Training of Geniuses
Many people were confused by the sentence, 'we will be back soon', but a little while later all their doubts were cleared. The School of Dreams had shut their gates. This both disturbed and excited people.
Disturbed because they wouldn't know what was happening at all in that Hell of a place. But they were excited because those geniuses that were related to them could be said to have accessed a cheat code to Heaven... through Hell!
What they didn't know was the agony that was about to befall the students in the school of Dreams.
The five geniuses had estimated the graduating amount and sent it out to everyone two days later. It went like this:
Around 50% of people will die, excluding those that have failed during the exam. Of the remainder, another 25% will be permanently disabled or injured. We have no use for failures. They will be executed. Of those that have not died, a total of 1 exam a year will last for 5 years, and only those who succeed shall advance to the next year. Those that fail will redo the year, and two years of failure, in a row or not, shall lead to expulsion. And in the School of Dreams, expulsion means death. That leaves around 1% of the people graduating on their first try.

As soon as this was posted out, uproars happened here and there throughout all capital cities. 1% would graduate on their first try. What did that mean? It meant that of the 500 hundred people who were still alive, only 5 would come out in five years.
The rest, depending on their abilities, may graduate a year later, but if not, then they were as good as dead.
Seeing as almost the whole group of applicants, a whopping two thousand, would be brought down to 5 or 6, it shocked everyone who read this post.
What was Hell? This was Hell!
Many people jumped out, requesting withdrawals, but the School remained silent. Since they had already signed the life and death contract, they couldn't legally do anything. And the School of Dreams had the Academy backing it, so no one would dare to do something illegally.
They could only pray and hope that their relatives and friends would survive this ordeal. 'Wait! What if they did? Just hypothetically, what if my friend survived? He would no longer be my friend. He would no longer be human. He would be a monster bred right in Hell! Would I want a friend like that? Yes, because in this world, only the best of the best will make it to the top. And if my friend is the best of the best but also a monster, then so be it!'
Shivers ran down the spines of everyone present. They only just realized how devilish this School of Dreams was. It literally changed people into demons.
One person though, was quite the anomaly. Principal Jones, sitting in his all-oak office, sipping on his green tea, was grinning from ear to ear, almost dripping the tea from those large cracks.

1 week later
'Ding!'
Another post had been uploaded by the School of Dreams official page. It was a couple of images followed by some text. Also, there was a video at the very bottom.
Some wives had picked up their husbands hologram tablets up for them, but upon seeing the images, many vomited, while some even fainted. Their husbands also went white in the face, shocked and scared of what these images beheld.
Disfigured faces, chopped limbs, spilled intestines filled the screen in piles and piles. Some dead, some clearly on their last breaths. And standing amidst them were around 100 people. 400 people had already been eliminated. In the first week!
Those that remained all had bloodshot eyes, the very same red that covered their entire body, from head to toe.
Underneath these few photos, all HD quality, was a line of text. This line of text read: 'Thought they would be better than this. You sure you sent us the best? From what we see, only 1 person will graduate.'
1 person?
What did that mean?
What did the text mean by 1 person might graduate?
Were they so good that they had completed dominated the test?
Were the standards not actually so high?
Or were they too high?
All these questions were answered in the following video.
It was of 1 man. This man was that very same one who had been lying down during the entrance exam. The five geniuses had paid note to him, but only through this exam did they see just how savage he was.
His skill was hard to see, but towards those good enough, it was easily discernible. They were his eyes, deadly and cold. They were blind. All he could see were weaknesses. The weaknesses of his enemies. They were like holes that he would just insert his sword into.
When he wasn't using his skill, it was all fine, and he was just another young man. But when his skill was activated,he became a machine. A killing machine.
He, by himself, slaughtered around 200 people before most people had finished off 1.
At the end of the video, a red line of text emerged from a black background, 'Haha, our sixth genius may have just been born'.
