Chapter 37: Chapter 29

The war raged on with Telmarines employing Gurrilla war tactics and attacking at nights.

Both sides were having casualties, so once again Hadrian came back to the battlefield. But this time he was hitting there ships with everything he had.

As Hadrian arrived via teleportaion and stood tall in the midst of the vast ocean, at a distance the Telmarine fleet saw him and they quickly yelled orders to attack the figure.Since they knew who this person was or had an idea about him.

Hadrian started his magical incantation" Omnia aqua coeperunt. Omnia ad aquam revertentur. Ergo aqua est vita et mors."

A burst of magical energy was sent to every direction underwater.

As the water continued to spread, it revealed its true nature—controlled chaos. It moved with a fluid grace, obeying Hadrian's unspoken commands. With a mere thought, he directed the water to surge and retreat, forming towering waves that crashed against imaginary shores. He manipulated the liquid with finesse, creating mesmerizing patterns and shapes.

Hadrian stood at the center of this magical sea, the manifestation of his forbidden spell, Ouroboros. The power coursing through his veins was immense, granting him control over the vast expanse of water. The sea stretched out as far as the eye could see, with powerful currents and towering waves that dwarfed any natural disaster known to man.

While the Captain of of ship on seeing Hadrian yelled"Fire the canon.Take that bastard out."

As fleet of menacing Telmarine ships closed in on him. Cannonballs whistled through the air, hurtling towards their target with destructive intent. But Hadrian, harnessing his command over the waters, remained undeterred.

With a focused gaze, Hadrian raised his outstretched hand towards the oncoming barrage. A surge of power resonated within him, as if the very essence of the ocean responded to his call. In an instant, the water around him began to churn and rise, forming a towering wall that stretched as far as the eye could see.

As the pirate cannons roared, the cannonballs collided with the formidable wall of water that Hadrian had summoned. The impact created a thunderous explosion of water droplets and steam, dissipating the destructive force of the cannonballs. The projectiles, reduced to harmless sprays, harmlessly scattered across the ocean's surface.

Hardrian smiled and muttered"You are against nature herself."

While one of the captains seeing this in fear muttered"Monster"he quickly order his men"Retreat...retreat."

The ships, their firepower rendered useless, faltered in their advance. The Telmarine captains and crew members stared in disbelief at the seemingly impenetrable barrier before them. Hadrian's control over the ocean had turned the tide in his favor, providing him with a shield against their onslaught.

Embracing the moment, Hadrian clenched his fist, exerting his will over the watery wall. With a commanding gesture, he directed the wall to surge forward, crashing towards the pirate ships with a force that matched the fury of the sea itself. The massive wave loomed over the vessels, threatening to swallow them whole.

The pirates, now faced with a watery onslaught, scrambled to adjust their sails and navigate the treacherous onslaught. The once confident expressions on their faces were replaced with fear and panic.

The wall of water crashed upon the Telmarine ships, sending them rocking and reeling in its wake. The vessels creaked and groaned under the force, their hulls splintering against the unyielding might of the ocean. The ship crews, tossed about like rag dolls, clung to whatever they could find in a desperate attempt to survive.

But as Moroha surveyed the scene, he saw more at a distance escaping.

With a mere thought,Hadrian summoned multiple tentacles of water that emerged from the depths of the magical sea. These tentacles possessed a sinister aura, capable of wrapping around the Telmarine ships, no matter their size or strength. They moved with precision and agility, striking fear into the hearts of every Telmarines.

The waves around him roared and writhed, as if they were alive, yet Hadrian maintained a calm and composed demeanor. As he watched the ships break down under the water snakes.

As Hadrian contemplated the situation, he suddenly heard his father's voice echoing in his mind, "Do not annihilate them all, Hadrian. We require them for the future. Seek peace with them, at least for now."

Hadrian, with a furrowed brow, reluctantly complied and whispered under his breath, "I will, father."

Hadrian waved his hands, and the remaining ships were released and pushed away. Additionally, he summoned forth the survivors who had clung to debris in the vast seas, bringing them safely to the other nearby ships or shores.

While on the Island of Telmarine, King Caspian heard the news, prompting numerous discussions with his advisors. Seated on his throne, he was completely dazed, feeling exhausted and furious.

One of his advisors, Lucian, spoke up, suggesting, "It would be best if we initiate peace talks with the Narnians."

King Caspian frowned at his advisor's words, while his war captain, Marius, yelled, "We cannot retreat! We still have the option to launch multiple attacks on them during the night."

Lucian frowned and interjected, "We are facing an enemy who can control the weather and the ocean at will. We have already lost half of our army and fleet, and on top of that, we are dealing with a severe shortage of food."

Every advisor and the last surviving Marius grimaced upon hearing this. It became evident that they had no solid ground to continue the war.

King Caspian let out a weary sigh and spoke up, "Send a message to initiate talks with the Narnians."

They would attempt to negotiate peace with Hadrian, who, in turn, would accept the proposal.
