Chapter 6: She's a woman, a pure human, or a half-demon?

Max spoke slowly with Elijah who was still trying to digest the new facts that were destroying her reality.

"Elijah, from now on you must listen to me carefully. I will tell you stories about the other worlds. You have to listen because the signs have already appeared and so that you can protect yourself even if I'm not by your side later."

Max was looking forward to Elijah's response. Patiently finally getting certainty, ready or not, Elijah showed a willingness to listen to his story. It's a good start, he thought. Later on, as she walks she will adjust.

"If you have ever read the Bible, Tripitaka, Veda, Quran and Bhagavad Gita or Ramayana and Mahabaratha stories, as well as other stories concerning the early days of the creation of the world, this story has something to do with all of that. Our life story always has a beginning."

"Underground is a place that you think of as a misguided world, your mother's literary Underworld is a world inhabited by creatures in three other dimensions. This world has thousands of layers, no, but hundreds of millions of layers, all I'm talking about is the outline. In short, there are three worlds, the underworld, the middle world, and the upper world."

"The underworld or what we call the Underground is the world of creatures like the active demon, the middle world is our place. It can also be called the surface world, a place where humans and animals cannot talk to each other, but the Underworld will be different, just like the Upper World, it is a place for those who are said to be created from light."

Max pauses for a moment. He wanted to make sure Elijah had started to open her mind.

"So far, do you understand?"

Elijah muttered.

"I think so. I can understand enough the division of these three worlds, is there no rule that prohibits beings from the underworld from coming into contact with beings from the middle and upper worlds?"

Max smiled.

"Do not think there is a division of territory that forbids fellow beings to connect clearly like a fortress that limits the territory between humans. There's nothing like it."

"All are entitled to relate to each other, we may communicate with beings from the upper world and the underworld, but there will always be consequences of that communication."

"If you've heard there's been a ban on stealth relating to humans, it's because both humans and demons realize the relationship between the two sides can create disharmony. After all, it's better, we're both guarding, so it's better if humans relate to humans, animals with animals, demons with demons. All beings are interconnected, some are directly related some are not, just like humans who can relate to building each other, but there are also types of humans who can only damage."

"The human world is only a small part of this vast network of universes. Since you've so far lived as a human being, you can see for yourself how humans relate to each other, right? Not everything brings harmony."

Max waits for a reaction from Elijah.

"There are consequences of every communication?"

She said it repeatedly with a frown. Max patiently awaited the next question from Elijah.

"Um, can you be clear about their time sharing? Are they immortal? I mean those who live in the underworld and the upper world, I know humans, I mean those who live in the middle world are not immortal."

Max tried to use the words that best corresponded to Elijah's current frequency of language.

"There is nothing eternal about the three."

"Huh?! Wait a minute! I have heard that demons, evil, jinn, and angels are immortal."

"No. Nothing is eternal. We are all bound to the time, the owner of the will, the creator, the eternal is only HIM: the time or the creator or the owner of the will, we can use the term The One, the Arbitrary One, to refer to HIS existence.

"There is nothing eternal about all creatures. The only difference is their bond to time. If your life bond with time reaches 100 years, then you will achieve it, as well as with other creatures. Humans must take various conditions if they want to live for 100 years or more, conditions such as maintaining mental and physical health must also meet the need to protect themselves. The same is true of other creatures, it's just that they're different."

"Aaaaa... a... I'm confused."

"If not, I'm surprised," Max said.

"Humans need to eat to live, other creatures also need to eat to live, it's just that the form of food is different from humans until here you are still able?"

Elijah was seen nodding doubtfully.

"Okay, you say we're half-human, is that what makes us enjoy human food?"

"Right. We can also enjoy stealth food."

So far Max is starting to believe there will be no problems with other knowledge transfers later. Even so, he would give it little by a little while walking. Elijah couldn't possibly accept it all in a moment.

She should be made to see and feel by herself from time to time, Max thought, especially on how to protect herself from creatures that are eyeing half-demons.

"Is there no punishment for human-related demons?"

Max wanted to laugh but held back. He began to see Elijah's confusion looking like a stand-up comedy.

He guessed, that Elijah thought about how her mother was related to stealth and began to think that her mother's death had something to do with the punishment. She may have thought her mother was exposed to warn both sides to stay away from each other, Max amused himself because it was similar to the screenplay of a movie he had ever watched.

Although there was such a possibility, he couldn't afford to think like that. If that happens, then Elijah's mother is the first woman to have intercourse with a demon there are now many half-demons born first than Elijah. That is, Elijah's mother was killed not to warn both sides. It has another political meaning.

"The punishment is always there. The punishment does not need to be written and does not require a special judge to sentence the perpetrator as in the human world, the law runs automatically along with when each party decides to get in touch, either for intercourse or business relationships. Therefore some criminal acts cannot be revealed until now around the world."

Elijah was stunned. Meanwhile, Max is pleased with Elijah's boylike reaction to hearing a fairy tale about the magic of the fairies. From here on out, Elijah asked various things at random. It seemed like there were many things that she had heard or seen that had caught her attention but her attitude used to underestimate the situation and now it appeared in her head.

"I've watched in Yutub, mysterious cases that the FBI and CIA haven't been able to uncover. Ah, then, a case related to a particular sect, does it include the fruits of relating to underworld beings? Oh yes, what about the loss? Is that a real example of the act of relating to beings from the underworld, um, I mean Underground?"

It's going to be a very long lecture hour, 10 credits won't be enough to explain all this, Max laments to his heart.

"It will take me a very long time to explain until you understand and accept the existence of the underworld. Now, choose one of your many questions. Choose the one you want to know the most. "

Max tried to sum up the time. He looked at Elijah, who was beginning to think.

"After hearing your explanation, although I can't believe it yet, I have two things I want to know right now. First, who killed my mother? Second, who is my father? You said he was a demon, so I wondered what kind of demon he was. If the underworld is like ours, where there are good and bad people, I wonder if my mother is related to good or evil demons."

Elijah's honesty touched Max. He was proud that Elijah had a priority and knew exactly what she wanted.

"I also want to know both."

Max was shocked when Elijah suddenly gripped both of his palms in earnest. His heart was racing.

Elijah says, "Therefore, please help me to find him. I'm going to try to adjust to the underworld, I mean Underground, whatever form it takes, I'm going to try. I think if the world is filled with a war of power, you should teach me, as you said so that I can protect myself."

The earnestness in Elijah's gaze made Elijah's words have the power to melt the hearts of everyone who heard them.

Max doesn't need that because he's been determined to do it since bringing Elia into his secret room. Max nodded at Elia.

"Since we've agreed to find out about your mother then, let's focus on that. Regarding the Underworld, I believe you can learn it while diving into that environment. One thing you should be aware of from now on, is your reality is different from the reality of ordinary humans."

"We live in the same world but with a completely different reality. Both of our eyes capture a reality that is invisible to ordinary humans. The boundary between the creatures of the underworld, the middle world, and the upper world is just this," Max pointed to his own eyes.

"Humans can't see all creatures, nor can they from other dimensions, because their eye abilities are different.

"Even so, there are always exceptions. Every 500 years a human being is born to communicate with three worlds."

"Every 500 years?"

"Yes, that person would almost certainly be called a God if was born a male, referred to as a Goddess if she was born a female."

"Is that person a real human being?"

"Nobody knows for sure about that. Physically that person is human, but the reality is that person's life is more than that of man in general. I've only ever heard stories about that person in books."

"Someday you can stop by the library and read information about that type of human being. That person is also called a three-dimensional human because can master all three. It's been a myth for generations."

"Does that mean that person can be the ruler of the entire universe?"

Elijah's question sounded light, but the nuances caused were not as light as the arrangement of the sentence. Max pondered.

"Isn't it written like that in the book?"

Max shook his head.

"There's no information to that extent. You can read it yourself someday."

"The library is in the human world?"

"Between yes and no. The library is in a unique dimension of space and time. The library is called Kalaseba. An old man becomes the custodian of the library and only any person or creature he allows to access the information in it."

Elijah seemed somewhat disappointed to hear the information.

"That means I won't necessarily be invited by him, right?"

Max nodded. He was glad Elijah quickly understood this.

"That's why that person, who could go to the Kalaseba was chosen," Max said with a preference for increasing Elijah's interest in all three worlds and making Elijah's way of life easier.

"Now we forget about three-dimensional humans. We're focused on finding out about Bibi."

Elia raised her head.

"Why did you call my mother Bibi? She has a beautiful name!"

"Sorry, my bad."

"I hope you don't forget my mother's name! Bunga Sumanasa! Do you hear? Remember that!"

Max laughed.

"Do you have a plan? My mother's Bunga Sumanasa must get justice! The killer should be punished!"

Max laughed again.

"I know what you mean. But, there's no need to be that annoying!"

"I'm just trying to raise my spirits, you know!"

"Okay, okay. I will try to make it work."

"Do it!"

Beyond Max's expectations, Elijah didn't look sad at all at the time. Inwardly he praised Elijah's skill that could hide her sadness and confusion.

"We're going to start by asking for help," Max said.

"Huh?!"

"Why is it just 'hah heh hah'?"

"Yes, I think you're going to do a heroic act by breaking into the Underground, grabbing someone's collar, and asking who killed my mother!"

"This is not a Hollywood movie."

"It's like the underworld movie I've seen!"

"Elijah! Please!"

"Okay, okay, sorry, so who should we seek help with?"

Max stood up and approached his explosion box. Elijah followed in Max's footsteps.

"Sunshine, we have to see her."

"Who is Sunshine? Why does that name sound like a tarot player?"

"Indeed. She's the owner of a Sunshine Tarot Shop, have you heard?"

"What?! Oh My GOD! I'm not used to this."

"Don't complain," Max almost exploded with laughter at Elijah's witty tussle.

"How can I get used to it in such a short period? My world is somersaulting in 24 hours!"

"Your protest won't change the facts," Max said as he stuffed the items in the box's explosion into his bag. The bag is a carrier bag that has many bags in it.

"Why are you carrying such a big bag, wouldn't it be better to ask Doraemon for help?"

"Doraemon is just a cartoon character, pure design!"

Max feels almost crazy. He thought he couldn't last long responding to the way Elijah mixed reality and cartoon life. If only Elijah had not shown her ignorance honestly, Max might have chosen to lock Elijah in his basement.

"What can I help you with? Is there anything I need to bring?"

"Here, bring this little bag. The stuff in it is the stuff that sunshine likes."

"Then what are you bringing?"

"Everything we're going to need for this trip."

"We're not going home?"

Max shook his head.

"No, don't expect to be able to go home anytime quietly because our goal is not to travel to get entertainment or inspiration like writers."

"Then we should stop by the department store."

"For what?"

"I need clothes."

Max looked at the shirt Elijah was wearing. The shirt was his and instantly he remembered Elijah's bag had been stolen.

"You can shop for your clothes and necessities at the Sunshine store."

"Isn't that a tarot shop?"

"She also opened a fashion business."

Max grinned and held back amused at Elijah's shocked expression.

"She's a woman, a pure human, or a half-demon?" asked Elijah.

Max laughed hard.
