Chapter 1: Chapter 1
CHAPTER 1
"Hey, did you know the Romans established London?"
Flipping through a magazine, my friend Kasper looked up
"When?" He asked
"In-"
"Did I ask" He interjected
"I'm actually informing you because you didn't ask"
"Why would I ever ask about that?" He said flippantly.
"I don't know. I just thought it was interesting. Hey, what club are you gonna join?"
"Eh, I don't think that I'm gonna join one since football practices start soon. I also don't really think that there are any clubs that I'd enjoy"
I could tell that this wasn't the real reason he was against joining a club, but I decided not to press any further.
"Your dad is making you join one, right? So what's your plan?" said Kasper.
"Not sure yet, I'm probably gonna go look around at the activities fair,"
"That's not a bad idea, I guess."
"The bell is about to ring. You wanna head to homeroom?" I asked.
"Yea sure, we should try to be early to get seats together".
