Chapter 2: Chapter 1:The Tragedy
Adrian Lee opened his eyes slowly, watching as the morning light shine into the room. He got up slowly and walked into the bathroom,with lifeless-looking eyes. He didn't sleep that much at night for the fear of having that nightmare again. When he got out of the bathroom,he emerged as a young boy dressed in uniform.
Adrian went down the stairs and all the maids bowed down to greet him. The maids raised their heads after he greeted them with a grunt,they felt swooned by his beauty. Chiselled jaw,jade clear skin, thin lips and cold olive eyes . Oh God he was deadly handsome. They had never seen him smile but even without the smile he was very eye pleasing.
Adrian sat down at the dining table,he watched expressionlessly as the maids placed the food on the table. The table was filled with Western Cuisine menu for breakfast,none of it appealed to Adrian. The click sounds of heels could be heard as Maria Lou walked over to the table. Maria Lou is Adrian's elder sister ,they both had the same olive eyes they inherited from their mother,cold demeanor and frigid personality. The only person Maria Lou cared about was Adrian, after all he was her younger brother and he deserved to be spoiled rotten.
She ruffled his hair as she sat down and kissed his cheeks,Adrian felt embarrassed by her actions and his cheek turned bright red. "Hey kiddo,why do you look like a walking zombie? You didn't sleep,did you?" she asked as she signalled to one of the maids to dish her food. Noticing his silence,she looked at her brother who just sat like a lifeless log of wood. She sighed and bowed her head.
When would Adrian be able to smile and laugh again? Her heart tightened as she looked at her brother,he was a twin and the bond he shared with his twin was inseparable after all they shared the same womb and umbilical cord for 9 months,they did almost everything together and their minds was in sync. Losing someone that close to your heart can have a huge impact on you,and that was the case with Adrian.
The maid served them and went back without making a sound,everyone in the mansion knew Adrian hated noise. Maria Lou smiled gently and poked Adrian's arm. " Mom's coming back from Bali today" she said with excitement ringing in her voice. Adrian looked up at her , seemingly asking with his eyes "and what had that got to do with me?".
Maria Lou sensing what her brother meant by the look in his eyes,spoke out with irritation, " come on, she has been gone for 6 months. Don't you miss her?". Adrian Lee got up and wiped his mouth with the napkin,he was walking away when he suddenly stopped and turned back to answer his sister.
"No" his reply filled the air with coldness. Maria Lou couldn't believe what he said and retorted," kiddo , you're being selfish. She has been to Bali because we want you to be happy"
" I already lost my happiness,you all can stop bothering yourself. I'm off" he said without looking back and went to the garage. He picked the Bugatti Veyron and drove off to school.
' They all think I would be happy,not in this lifetime I guess' he thought as he drove,passing many red lights but no on would stop him as the car carried the Lee's emblem. There's no way he can be happy until she's found and she's dead,gone never to come back. He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel to show his fury. All this wouldn't have happened if they had listened to him.

The Lee's family were on their annual vacation. Karl had purchased an island and he turned it to a private castle where his family comes to relax,have fun and bond with each other. They were planning to go on the sea and catch some fishes just to have fun but Adrian had bluntly refused to get on the cruise yatch. He had some bad feelings that something would happen,hence his refusal.
Adrian felt his twin sister tugging the helm of shirt with teary puppy eyes. He couldn't bear to see his sister cry and always protected her,gave into her demands as long as she is happy and smiling. Adrianna pouted sadly and continued to tug at her brother's shirt.
"Adrian ,I really want to go on the water" she pleaded knowing he wouldn't be able to stand his ground for long against her,her tears fell down and Adrian's resistance broke down. He agreed instantly and they all went on board. Adrianna's face brightened up and she ran around playfully,Adrian sat down looking at her playing so happily. As long she was happy,there was nothing he couldn't do for her. No sooner had they set sail that a heavy wind began to blow across the water and a storm was approaching. They tried to turn back but the winds were so fierce and rocked the yatch fiercely. Everyone was trying to get the safe place in the cabin,Adrian looked as everyone scurried in. His face darkened as he couldn't find Adrianna. He started shouting and looking for her frantically
"Adrianna! Adrianna!" he screamed but the roaring sounds of the water covered his voice. He was going around,then he saw her,her hair was stuck with the sunny yellow scarf she wore to the rails. Just as he was about to dash forward and rescue her,the yatch moved sideways and she fell right into the water right before his eyes. They searched days and nights for her but neither her or her dead body was found.
The tragedy continued every day in his sleep.
