Mostly people go to the labyrinth at night or early morning so that they can hunt demons without encountering a crowd. But the labyrinth of Vale is just found and there is no search end declaration given out yet so there must be very few people right now.
After a while we go outside the city gate and reach the forest. As I can see the dungeon in sight I extinguish the lantern and put it inside the backpack.
We go forward and I find a different explorer standing at the entrance of the labyrinth. Ignoring him we enter the labyrinth.
Just like last time I am inside a small cave-like room. It's a 4-5 meter square room. The room is dimly lit up. There is a black door behind me on the wall from where I came.
The paths leading from this room are dark tunnels. They are relatively small, with a width of about 3 meters. It's too dark to see the end, but the path straight ahead turns into a crossroads right away.
As soon as we enter the labyrinth Roxanne's facial expression sharpens. It's the same seriousness she displays when we talk about the labyrinth. I take out the leather cap from the backpack and place it on Roxanne's head. The leather cap conceals her dog ears but safety first. Then I take out both our leather gloves and we wear them. At last I hand Roxanne her wooden shield.
We are now looking like proper Adventurers. Shame that there is no camera here.
"Roxanne, I am going to show you more of my powers today", I tell Roxanne while giving her a black crystal and keeping one on me.
"Okay Master", Roxanne takes the black and nods at my words.
Now then I should adjust some points.

I tried I really did, to make a power system with stats, exp and all work with the original story. But I just can't seem to properly make a balanced progressive system. I think even the original author made stuff up along the way. Anyways the stats and the exp gained will remain vague for now as were in the og story.
