 "Welcome, Welcome. This is the room where we will select the next Hogwarts Librarian. The pay has been decided to be fifteen galleons per week, and this-" Minerva swishes and flicks he wands, and some papers fly and reach all of the people present.

On the front, it was the same advertisement that was there in the Daily Prophet, while on the back it was the list of responsibilities one would be expected to have and some rules and guidelines.

<Daily Prophet>

Eligible and interested wizards (or witches) may meet Deputy headmistress, Professor Minerva McGonagall between noon and sunset.

<Daily Prophet>

"Now I will call you one by one, where Headmaster and I will evaluate each and every applicant until one is selected for the bearer of the post.

"Newton Goldstein" The brown-haired wizard followed Minerva in the room.

In the corner sat a man leaning onto his cane, long brown hair which reached below his neck. He was wearing strange attire when compared to the other applicants, but it was not expected for him to be held by norms for everyone else, due to his disability.

Some Wizards winced at the sight, while some worried if the disabled would be chosen for "equal representation", a movement started by Madame Umbridge in the Wizengamot and on an international level through the press.

"Eren Yeager,"

The man stood up and walked through the door, where on the high table was the infamous headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Albus Pervical Brian Wulfric Dumbledore.

To his left was Severus Snape, the only potion master on British soil, and to his right was an empty chair, which Professor McGonagall took promptly.

"Your OWL results?" Minerva asked for them, for which Eren shrugged.

"I am afraid I do not quite qualify by my OWL results, Miss McGonagall."

"Then why have you come to waste the time of Hogwarts staff, Mister Yeager."

"I do want a job, Mister Snape-"

"It is not a position to get by your desire, Yeager."

"Let me complete my sentence, sir. I do not qualify by my OWL results, I do, however, qualify by my NEWT results, here you go." He brought his NEWT results to Minerva.

"I am afraid NEWTs taken before your... condition would not do us any help in a practical sense, Mr. Yeager," Snape commented, without bothering to hide any disdain towards Eren's current physical predicament.

"I had an impression the job was more of a theoretical nature, worry not, my NEWT results were revised just the day before yesterday, Mr. Snape." During the whole conversation, Albus remained silent, until the NEWT results were passed by Minerva in a surprised gaze.

"You do qualify academically, Mr. Yeager, as do all of our other applicants. Why should we hire you for the position?"

"Besides my report, I happen to be a prodigy in dueling and swordsmanship, if those clubs are still running as they did a long time ago. Also, I am pursuing my mastery in the Defence against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration."

"Under which master?" A Mastery in a subject was the second name for an apprenticeship. Someone chosen as an apprentice under a reputed master was a rare and a good thing for job applicants.

"For Defence independently," Severus winced. Independent pursuing mastery was the same as doing nothing. Mastery, at its core, meant studying under a master of the field. "For Transfiguration, I aim to impress Professor McGonagall here to accept me under her."

"So nowhere?" Professor McGonagall had high standards for mastery. Even when she did not want to, she had to give a chance to someone who aimed to impress her in the field for mastery, as was written in the Hogwarts bylaws.

"Show me a good piece of transfiguration." She said, without much motivation. She, as the master held every right to refuse and she was not all that motivated to spend time to gain an apprentice, already juggling her duties as the Transfiguration Professor, Head of the House, Deputy Headmistress, and even the Headmaster's position for when Albus is out for his other duties in the Wizengamot and the ICW.

Eren tapped his cane on the ground, from where crystal emerges and envelops everything in the room, from the wall to the chairs they were sitting upon.

Minerva looks at the material. "Glass?" She taps it with her cane.

"Diamond would be similar in properties, it is quite unbreakable." This- intrigued Minerva.

"Duration?"

"Until I, myself return it to the original."

"That- would be impressive if it's true." The crystal follows back and changes into mist as the room is returned to its original color. "Impressive and dangerous, it could imprison someone for eternity, or for just enough time for him to die without air."

"We will contact you of our decision, latest by tomorrow," Albus spoke, looking at Eren with twinkling eyes. Minerva was still in a daze after witnessing Permanent, unbreakable transfiguration before her.

"Can you provide me with a small piece of the crystal? It would help my decision for the post and the apprenticeship." Eren just nodded and made a small, thin rectangle of the crystal, and passed it to Professor McGonagall.

He left the room, leaving two Wizards worried about the possibilities of the power, and one in awe.
