The Troll incident reminded Happy about the butterfly effect.

The events that transpired made him acutely aware of the potential dangers that could arise unexpectedly due to his mere existence in the wizarding world. He realized that even the slightest action or decision could have unforeseen and far-reaching consequences.

Happy couldn't help but feel a bit of curiosity as Dumbledore ordered everyone to return to their rooms and stay put for safety. He knew he should follow the Headmaster's orders, but he was eager to see how the situation would unfold and how deep the changes went.

Happy made his way toward the location of the Troll, wondering what had changed and who was now the potential victim of the Troll.

"Happy? Where are you going?" Ron asked, following closely behind him.

"It's dangerous. We should stick together," Harry added, concern etched on his face.

Hermione, on the other hand, was more cautious. "We should return to our rooms right now!" She protested. However, her curiosity eventually got the better of her, and she reluctantly followed the others toward the source of the commotion.

The hallways of Hogwarts were eerily quiet on that fateful night, as if the very castle itself was holding its breath in anticipation. The sound of the Troll's roars and grunts echoed through the empty corridors, a constant reminder of the danger lurking just around the corner.

Happy, Harry, Ron, and Hermione moved cautiously through the halls, their wands at the ready, as they searched for the source of the commotion.

"Happy, let's go back. We're not supposed to be here. We can't take on a troll," Ron urged, a note of fear in his voice.

But for Happy, nothing he was experiencing made sense. Everything he knew about the current plot seemed redundant. 'Did I affect things to this degree? Why are we moving away from the bathroom? Why is the sound coming from the tower?'

"Ron, let's follow the sound and keep a safe distance," Harry said, his eyes fixed on the path ahead, with his Gryffindor courage rising within him.

As the four friends moved cautiously, they were suddenly jolted by a blood-curdling scream that echoed through the corridors. "Aaaaaagh!"

Hermione gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in fright.

"What was that?" Ron demanded, his wand at the ready.

Harry knew what it was. "It's a human scream," he said, his voice tense with concern. "Someone's in trouble."

Even Happy, who was usually nonchalant, felt a twinge of fear as the ghostly sound reverberated through the empty halls. The darkness seemed to close in around them, and the cold seemed to seep into their bones.

"We have to help them," Hermione said despite being scared, her voice slightly shaking.

"But how?" Ron asked.

Happy was the only one who seemed to have a plan. "We follow the sound," he said firmly. "We'll find them and then decide how to proceed from a safe distance."

'My luck should help.' Happy thought.

The four first-year students raced down the corridor toward the Ravenclaw Tower, their hearts pounding with adrenaline.

As they reached the tower, they could see the devastation that the Troll had wrought. The doors were smashed open, and the small library was littered with debris, scattered books, and broken furniture.

"WRAAAA!"

"There!" Hermione exclaimed, her eyes wide with horror.

"It seems the Ravenclaws were taken by surprise while running into their common room," Happy explained, his voice grim as he eyed the Troll that was focusing on the door in front of it.

Caught off guard, the students had only managed to close the door partway before the Troll had caught up to them. With its massive club, the creature began to pry the door open, determined to get inside.

The situation was dire, and Happy, Harry, Ron, and Hermione had to act fast if they hoped to save the Ravenclaw students.

Thankfully, the Troll still hadn't noticed the four students behind him as it let out a deafening roar and slammed its massive club against the door, but the students inside were united in their efforts to keep the door shut.

'Fools! Why aren't they blasting magic? They're wizards!' Happy nearly cursed Ravenclaw.

However, it was clear that they couldn't hold out against the monster forever.

"What should we do? If we try to stop it, it might come after us," Harry whispered, looking worried.

Happy wondered about it too. But he didn't want to go after it as he had no real idea how his potent good luck would help him.

Still, Happy took out his wand and looked back, "Hermione, stay behind and try to drop something on its head with a Leviosa spell. Ron, go and get any professor you find. Harry, you stay with me and distract the Troll. We're not going to fight it, but pull it back and try to enter the Ravenclaw House ourselves."

"That sounds dangerous. We're in a tiny library. where would we even run if the Troll comes after us?" Harry suggested, looking concerned. "Maybe we should wait for help."

Roar!

Bam!

The door to the Ravenclaw tower creaked open, and screams echoed from within.

"Let's go and help them," Harry's words instantly changed to the sounds, and decided to go along with the plan.

Happy nodded to Harry and Hermione before cautiously moving closer to the Troll. He knew the spells that were taught in the first year. He even knew other spells and how to perform them as he had seen them in the movies and had extensively read about them later on, although it was another thing performing them.

Heck, he felt he could even use the killing curse if he so wished, as it was intent-based. But he didn't want to go to Azkaban.

Harry waited for Happy to react. "What are we going to use–"

Happy didn't wait for him to finish and blasted his spell, "Incendio!"

A surge of raging fire burst forth from the tip of Happy's redwood wand, illuminating the dim library with its brilliant orange glow. The flames danced and crackled in the air, casting flickering shadows on the walls and ceiling as they surged toward their target. Harry shielded his eyes from the intense brightness, but he could still feel the heat emanating from the flames as they roared toward the Troll.

Harry could see the hair on the Troll's head burning away, but it was clear that the creature wasn't fully affected by the spell. So he began to blast the same spell as well.

A Troll was a magical creature and had some resistance to magic. So, it only scratched the creature and gained its attention.

Happy didn't stop either, "Flipendo!"

The second spell was called Knockback Jinx, used to push heavy objects back or an opponent back.

The Troll stumbled and fell back, slamming onto the wooden door with a loud thud. Harry and Hermione watched in awe as the Troll struggled to get back on its feet, looking visibly hurt from the impact of the spell.

"Aaaaahh!"

But a scream was still coming from inside the Ravenclaw common room door, and for some reason, the door was still slightly open.

That was when Happy noticed something. The Troll still hadn't pulled his arm out of the doorway.

"He's holding onto something!" Happy exclaimed and signaled for Harry and Hermione to join him. "Hermione, prepare yourself. Harry, use the same spell I did."

Happy carefully approached the Troll, his wand at the ready. The creature was massive and seemed to tower over him, but he couldn't let fear overtake him. As he walked closer carefully, he saw that the Troll's massive hand was still clamped around something.

Happy cautiously moved to the side to get a better look, trying to stay out of the Troll's range.

"Roarrr!" the Troll growled and continued to pull something.

The shrill cries of terrified students still reverberated throughout the corridor.

And that was when Happy finally saw it, something akin to a black long-haired female's head clutched in the Troll's palm. He couldn't tell who it belonged to. However, the girl was clearly in agony, crying out in pain as the Troll tried to drag her out of the Ravenclaw common room while her housemates frantically tried to pull her back to safety.

Blood was dripping from the girl's head the entire time, making a small puddle of crimson.

It left Happy in horror, and in an abrupt response, he shouted a stronger spell.

"Verdimillious!"
