With a swift wave of his wand, Happy unleashed a spell that illuminated the dimly lit reading room with a brilliant emerald light.

The Verdimillious Charm cast its eerie glow over every surface, bringing even the shadows to life with sparks that crackled and danced. It appeared in the form of a green orb at the beginning and then expanded, showering every corner with a brilliant light.

The glow emitted by the orb was blindingly bright, and it caught the Troll off guard. But as the orb of light struck the creature's head, a loud, blood-curdling roar of pain echoed through the room, causing the students to cover their ears and take a step back in fear.

Boom!

Happy winced as he watched the Troll stumble back, releasing the door it had been blocking.

The Troll stumbled back, its massive body hitting the ground with a thunderous boom. It writhed in pain for a few moments, its roars becoming weaker and weaker until they finally trailed off into silence. The creature lay still, its eyes closed in agony as the Verdimillious Charm continued to pulsate around it for a while.

"Quick, run to the door! I don't know when that thing will wake up!" Happy shouted urgently at Harry and Hermione.

As they fled, Harry repeatedly cast the Incendio Spell, and Hermione followed suit. Their spells damaged the Troll's skin, and the scent of burning flesh spread into the room.

However, Happy could sense that Hermione was holding back and not using her full power, which frustrated him. He knew that in a battle like this, they needed to give it their all if they wanted to survive, not care about some living creature conservation madness.

Fortunately, the Ravenclaws were somewhat of a clever bunch. They didn't just slam the door shut once the Troll had freed it. Instead, they waited for Happy and the others to catch up, knowing that they would need all the help they could get.

"CLOSE IT!" As Happy jumped inside the end, he shouted after taking a big dive in.

He quickly rose to his feet and looked around. The Ravenclaw common room was filled with terrified young students and worried older students, huddled together in fear and exhaustion. Some of the younger students were crying, while others clung to their older peers for comfort. The room was dimly lit, with the only light coming from the flickering candles and the occasional burst of magic as students attempted to fortify the entrance.

'Well, I'm inside the Ravenclaw room, not the way I expected, but I certainly succeeded.' Happy thought.

The three panted to catch their breaths while looking around at the relieved faces of the Ravenclaw students. Then they looked at each other to ensure they didn't have any injuries.

However, amidst the relieved and determined faces of the students, there was one girl who stood out.

She was huddled in a corner, crying out in pain, her Asian features twisted in agony. She was surrounded by senior Ravenclaw students as they tried to heal her painfully bloody injuries to the head.

Happy recognized her immediately.

'Isn't that Cho Chang?' His brows furrowed.

It was clear that Cho Chang had been badly injured. Most of her hair had been pulled out, leaving her scalp a bloody mess, and her screams echoed off the walls no matter how much healing magic the senior students used.

"We need to take her to the infirmary! Or this could be life-threatening." One of the students shouted.

"The Troll could still be outside!" Another replied.

Happy couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with these Ravenclaw students. "Why don't you seventh-years just fight it?" he asked.

"There's so many of you, and with some coordination, you should at least be able to put it to sleep. You just need to hit its head with something." He looked around the room, scanning the faces of the other students, hoping to find someone who would take charge and lead the way.

The seventh years looked at each other in confusion, unsure of what to do next.

"But what if it catches one of us?" One of them asked, the fear in their voice palpable.

"Just don't get caught then," Happy bluntly replied.

"..."

"What's the strongest spell you know?" Happy asked, his eyes scanning the room as he awaited a response.

After a moment, one of the older students spoke up. "Bombarda Maxima,"

"Good," Happy nodded in approval.

"Use that spell then. Go all out and blast it at the Troll; kill it. The creature has an innate defense against magical attacks, right? So, you have to use your strongest spell." He looked around the room, his gaze settling on Hermione. Without saying another word, Happy hoped to convey to her that he knew what she did.

"Aaaargh… It hurts! It hurts!!" Cho Chang's cries of pain filled the room.

Listening to her pain, the seventh-years grew more determined to take down the Troll that had caused such harm. They brandished their wands, the tips glowing brightly as they prepared to attack. Each one took a deep breath and focused on their spells, knowing that the situation was dire. The top students, those with the best mastery over their spells, came forward to lead the charge.

Happy watched from a safe distance. He didn't want to risk his life anymore as he had already tested his luck enough.

"Let's open the door. Everyone, keep your wands ready to blast it anytime!" Happy suggested.

Heeding his advice, carefully, all seventh-year students who had decided to go out stood beside the door and slowly opened it, making the least amount of sound as they could.

Then the bravest boy among them peeked out and noticed something.

"It's still here!"

The group hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to proceed. Then, as the door opened further, the boy noticed something else.

"It's not moving at all," he said, slightly relieved.

The door opened enough to allow them to go out. With that, ten boys and girls rushed out with spells prepared.

Despite the students making noise with their shoes, the Troll remained completely still. That caused confusion among the group, leading them to cautiously circle around the creature to examine it more closely.

"Its eyes are closed. There is blood coming from its nose and… I don't think it's breathing."

Hearing that, Happy opened the door and stepped outside to see for himself what had happened to the creature. He was perplexed, knowing very well that his spell was not powerful enough to kill the Troll. Nevertheless, he cautiously approached the Troll and studied it carefully, looking for any signs of life.

"Stand back!"

Suddenly, the sound of rapid footsteps drew their attention. Looking back, they saw a group of professors rapidly approaching, wands at the ready to kill the creature. Among them were Professor McGonagall, Snape, and Headmaster Dumbledore. Ron was trailing behind them, clearly, the one who had alerted them to the situation.

Ron's eyes widened in horror as he saw the massive Troll lying motionless on the ground, its huge body splayed out before him.

"Are you all right?" Ron asked, his voice filled with concern.

Ignoring Ron's question, Professor McGonagall ordered, "Clear the way! Return to your dormitories!"

But, although they cleared the way, they didn't return to their common room. From the door, a few students carefully carried Cho Chang out of the common room.

"What happened to Miss Chang?" Professor McGonagall questioned, her face contorted with worry.

"The Troll caught her! It was trying to pull her out of the common room, but we managed to pull her back. Fortunately, Happy stepped in and stopped the Troll before he could...take her head." A seventh-year student recounted truthfully.

"Mister Lestrange, where are you going?" Dumbledore suddenly spoke up, his voice calm but stern as he stopped Happy from trying to sneak away.

Happy had been hoping to avoid getting involved in the mess and ending up losing points, but he found himself unable to ignore the headmaster's questioning gaze.

Stopping with a smile, Happy replied, "Oh, good evening, Professors. I was just feeling hungry, so I was going to return to the Great Hall… The dinner feast was disturbed, after all."

Professor Snape approached the Troll and carefully examined it from up close. Then, after a moment of inspection, Snape looked at Happy, his piercing eyes bearing into him.

"It appears the troll's brain has melted."
