Chapter 50: Growth

As I ate my breakfast one of my snake spies reported to me that they heard some men talking about infiltrating the ministry, the snake who Is very chunni also said that they were talking about hailing a Hydra. So I'm guessing he heard 'hail hydra'. It's quite annoying to hear that hydra is making moves in Britain, I for one won't stand for it. I might be a criminal, I might be a crime boss, and a thief but Britain is still my turf and I will be damned if I let hydra of all people invade it.
On other matters, my men have been successful in assimilating the remaining men and women working for the Zabini crime family, apparently, one person ran into lady Zabini, and she almost seduced him into telling her everything about my organization, Micheal saved the day and knocked her out with a stunner, she is the mother of Blaize Zabini and has been married five times with each husband dying a mysterious death ending in her claiming their fortunes.
I don't know what techniques she used on my subordinate but I kind of want to learn them.
Anyways she joined the syndicate? Crime family? gang? I'm not sure what to classify my group as but she joined us and asked to be an assassin I let it happen she is practically made for the assassin role my ability said so too.
I flicked my hand and a Patronus flew out soaring out into the sky, it was for Cornelius he is doing a phenomenal job as the Minister of magic and he should know about Hydra.
After I sent out the Patronus I decided to visit the goblins to buy more available shops and barter for some not available shops. The process is boring and very paper-heavy.
I want to own a good portion of knockturn alley by the end of the year, and to be completely honest I'm not losing out on anything at all, the companies I built are bringing in huge sums of money every month. For the bar and merchant shop, I have already made as much money as I bought the stores and even gained some. And that was just with legal business, with the illegal business you could say that I am a certified genius, because I made up the idea of selling slightly worse versions of tomes and books I steal from other people and then make levels out of it I have been raking in straight Galleons. For example, I can have the book introduction to Occlumency and make a separate book just about clearing your mind, then another about shields. That is two books for one, and both would sell for a 50G while the actual book that covers both is only worth 75G.
The trick is making the books worth the price, I don't want to have the reputation of selling bad goods.
And finally, my hotel business is actually doing fairly well so far, the magical people need to get used to it first but I think they will start to appreciate the option of staying in a nice room while visiting a foreign area. The criminal safety side of things is also going well apparently some German on the run found one of my hotels and it saved his ass, he then shared his story and now everyone wants to see what my hotels are all about.
My subordinates are working and my vault is growing what else does a fella need?
-Time skip two weeks-
It's been two weeks since I sent Cornelius a Patronus, in those two weeks I stabilized the business in Italy and expanded the business in Knockturn Alley, most of the shops are now owned by me, some of them just changed ownership so nothing about it changed those shops I like to call sleeper shops because they are affiliated and owned by me but the public doesn't really know that.
The name Blood Merchant and Mercator Mortis or the merchants of death carried a lot of weight in the criminal parties these days.
People fear us, fear me for what we did to those Italian bastards, the Aurors, and ministry spies have obviously been snooping around but can't find anything wrong.
The more I expand the more influence I get which is great because more muggle-born wizards and witches are joining me.
I need them to set up the mundane side of the business, since they are all muggle-born they must know stuff about said subject meaning they can blend in easier.
Seeing as I have a firm hold on my position in the magical world now I can start my plans in the mundane one, planning like those makes me feel so evil but I like it, and being evil every now or then feels nice. It's not even like I'm planning anything sinister it's just I think it's just dawning on me how crazy it is to be alive creating magical organizations, ruling knockturn alley, and is the most wanted. It feels like a dream.

'Snake den' he said to me and I think I'm starting to understand, a couple of days ago I saw two agents meeting secretly about making moves in Britain but, the confusing part is shield is already in Britain, so they must be talking about magical Britain which we are not allowed to go into, so that means we are sending spies.
I was about to leave from eavesdropping on their conversation when I swear I heard one say hail hydra and the other got upset he said it in the shield base.
'Den of snakes' kind of makes sense now if you think about it, but what should I do? I don't know who I could go to and I'm pretty sure if I try to speak about this everyone will think I'm insane or they will silence me.
"Hey Fury, we got a mission to do apparently some Merchants of Death members have been spotted in the New York magical district," drawing me out of my thoughts was my partner
"Let's go," I said getting up from my desk and leaving
The merchants of death are a new crime organization, they have grown massively in the short time they have been active and it is worrisome how strong they are becoming, we can't get any info on the boss but his code name blood merchant, and we know that he destroyed the Zabini crime family other than that we have zero information.
It's troubling.
-Remus pov -
Spy on the merchants of death they say, it will be easy they say, oh they are new in the crime business they say. BULLSHIT! I have been out in this creepy alley for weeks and I can't find a single piece of information on these guys, I mean even when the boss fought they disappeared from everyone's view so I didn't even get battle statistics.
The department is demanding results and they are even thinking about having me join undercover. I think it's a bad idea but the department thinks it's amazing so I need to get results before they make me do it.

I wonder what my mortal friend is doing I should give him a call.

"Hey, Loki how are you doing man?" the mortal said
He appeared as a hologram sitting in a recliner with an unknown drink and a mortal what is that again? Ah, a cigar.
"Harry what are you doing?" I asked befuddled by the drastic change
"I'm embracing my inner mob boss!" he said happily taking a hit of his cigar
"I thought that stuff was bad for you mortals?" I asked
"I grew it myself, it has magic cleansing properties and everything," he replied confidently
"I see," I said nodding my head
"Yeah so how are you? Getting up to any trouble lately?" he asked with a smile
A smirk spread across my face, "I thought about what I could do to get back at my father and every idea would impact my mother as well. So I thought about it and I have to ask would you like to join me in stealing from the vaults of Asgard?"
It would make Odin murderous when he finds out the vaults have been raided, it might not seem like much revenge at first sight but in the vault are some of Asgard and Odin's most precious items.
I saw a crazy smile spread across my favorite mortals face, "Loki, you are a true friend, of course, I will join this great dare I say amazing revenge plot!"
"You don't fool me for a second you just like the idea of stealing from Asgard, not the revenge," I said shaking my head
"Yeah, so what it's still revenge?" he replied with an infuriating smirk, is this how I'm like?
We talked for a bit more then we hung up, Odin won't understand what hit him. He thinks he can use me ME for political relationships, he thinks he can fool me? I am the God of mischief not him and I always win in the end.
-Harry Pov -
Holy shittt, I get to rob Asgard's Vaults/ treasury and Loki is going to help me. That's crazy wicked. I asked Loki to send me a basic image so I can use it in my Theif's Grand Hall, the training room works by duplicating something I know who if I use the image the rest will be made like the actual Vault.
Stealing from Asgard is Definitely on my bucket list right there next to stealing from Kamar-Taj, of course on my way to and from the vault I might snag a couple of interesting trinkets as well. This is going to be a blast.
