Chapter 37: (A) A Day in Heaven
"Nnngh…." I slowly open my eyes as I stare up towards my ceiling for a few seconds before I turned to see the woman sleeping at my side.
'Well at least Heaven isn't so strict that you can't have sex before marriage, but maybe I have more leeway to do what I want since I'm a archangel.' I think to myself as I run my fingers gently through Lutes hair.
Not wanting to wake the girl I quietly get out of bed before I do my regular stuff, shower, brush my teeth, get dressed and make breakfast.
"Mmmmm….. Babe?" Lute yawns before she looks around wondering where Adam is at since he was missing from there bed, but she soon smelled food being cooked, so she stretched and went to wash up and get pretty before joining him.
Toast with bacon and eggs, a normal but tasty breakfast the two newly made lovers had together which they enjoyed before cleaning up and putting the dishes away.
"So, do you have any plans today babe?" Lute said as she rested her head on top of my chest as we didn't have any work to do in the first place.
"No, I mean there really isn't anything to do you know? I've been up here so long that nothing isn't really that interesting now, I've heard all these excited things being made down on earth, but cause of 'restrictions' I can't have fun with playing them, I mean there's a game down there where your this human dude going down into hell and killing demons, sure it's not what the actual demons are like and they can fight back because he's not an Angel and can die, also there being some weird messed up race that looks like angels but aren't angels and are considered even worse than demons which makes us angels kinda look bad, but still it looks so fucking fun to play…. Haaa but I can't play it…." I say feeling depressed as with this other guys memories I've seen what he's played before and that there's a game just like that down on earth but I can't have any fun with that now because how heaven is.
"Well have you thought about doing those concerts of yours? You are heavens rockstar outside the exterminations after all." She reminds me which makes me rub my chin.
"Well yeah I guess, but I haven't come up with any music of my own in awhile, besides what if I make something that's eerily similar to what some other rocker down on earth made? You know how scummy that would be? One of the few things I do respect are rockers so stealing there shit and calling it my own would make me feel like a dirtbag." I said with a sigh.
I do have these songs that I really want to play from this other guys memories in my head now, but I don't know if those bands or even if those songs exist down on earth.
"You can ask those Cherubs to go do that for you, after all they go to earth and help people right?" She reminds me about those little annoying shits that get on my nerves every time I see any of those cutesy things.
"Ugh, I hate those guys, there so fucking annoying as they act all high and mighty even if they are on the bottom of heavens hierarchy." I say grabbing my face as she has a point, but I'll do that later but not now.
"Actually you know what? I think we need to get you some new threads babe, I mean you do look damn sexy in your uniform but I'd…. Like to see you wearing something else when we go out and stuff, you know do couple things like that." I decide to say since she basically just has several versions of that outfit along with one she keeps stained with blood for some reason, then again it's hard to get blood out of clothes after all.
"You want…. To get some matching casual clothes?" She asks which I notice makes her blush a bit which makes me smile slightly.
"What kind of rocker would I be if I didn't have my girl look like a rocker just like me?" I say before I move her off me as I get up to grab my clothes.
"Hmm, I think I'd look better with my old looks when wearing this?" I mutter to myself while looking in the mirror.
And luckily after getting used to this new look I have I could go back and forth between how my face originally looked like with my hairstyle and stubble to my smooth face and messy blonde look I have now.
So with a snap of my fingers I looked like the old me, well in the facial department as my weight was still gone and that's all that matters.

"Fucking rock on man!" I say crossing my arms and giving myself the rocker horns before going back out to see Lute who was surprised to see my old looks, but she didn't seem to dislike it which made me feel a bit better with my decision.
"C'mon babe, let's go get you some new clothes." I say before leading us both out of the Villa.
Most people didn't know of my new looks yet so it was for the best I kept looking like my old self, though the looks when people saw me skinny, who knew me as a complete Fatass, was absolutely priceless that I almost couldn't hold back laughing.
At least up here in heaven one could almost wear whatever one wanted so long as it wasn't anything explicit or overly sexual though there were clothes where women could still show off their sexiness.
So after going specfically to my favorite shop for clothes I let the ladies working there to take Lute away to get her some new clothes that fit her perfectly.
And after a half an hour waiting while playing on my phone they came back with her and her new look making my eyes widen with Surprise when I saw her.

"Fuck man now that's what I'm talking about!" I grin as I see my girl now matching my style.
So after that was said and done and I payed for the stuff as heaven does have an economy for most things while other things are free of charge because their nonprofit we headed out of the store.
"You know what we should do next?"
"Burgers?"
"You read my mind babe! Man I haven't had a fucking burger in a long while! So let's eat!" I say with a smile as I grabbed her hand before we unfurled our wings and flew off to our favorite burger joint to chow down.
But I know soon enough I'm going to have to figure out what to do until the next extermination, cause Heaven ain't all that it's cracked up to be anymore.

Shorter chapter for you guys but it's to satiate those guys who want more Adam chapters.
So this is for hitting the 350ps mark, or if the next week already started up then this is for hitting this weeks 50ps mark and so 100ps until the next chapter is release.
And yes this is just a solo slice of life chapter on Adam as we will be going back to Cain again, you don't like about it well too bad cause this story is called Hazbin Hotel: Cain and Adam now and no longer the other way around.
