Chapter 1: You Died(1/???)
At a green tent located in the middle of a forest which is surrounded by soldier of different ranks, a person who wore the insignia and uniform of a First Sergeant can be seen running towards the tent.

As the First Sergeant entered the tent, five men were sitting around a table talking about important matters.
First Sergeant:Sir, the target has been spotted near a water fall, the units there are requesting for permission to charge at the target.
As soon as the sergeant said those words, the room went dead silent. The man sitting in the middle most chair facing towards the entrance of the tent looked towards the sergeant and said in a cold and heavy tone.
???:No, we cannot rush in foolishly like last time. The casualties will be too great, tell the troops to keep an eye on the target and to be careful of where they step.
The other four men nodded their head in agreement as they have witnessed what that man was capable of. Yes, they could just shoot and kill him but just killing him may cause a war to happen. The sergeant confused by the answer stood still without moving an inch. One of the men then shouted at the sergeant.
???:WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE? GO!!!
The sergeant quickly snapped out of his trance and swiftly left the tent. You may be confused as to why the Major Sergeant was so cautious of one man, you may be asking 'Is he a monster or something?' Well the answer is no, the man they are chasing is not a monster or a demon(yet) he is just a simple and normal human. To truly understand the situation we must look at the past.
[9 days ago]
1,000 soldiers were currently gathered up infront of a forest waiting for orders.
???:ALRIGHT SOLDIERS, LISTEN UP. WE ARE CURRENTLY SEARCHING FOR A MURDERER WHO HAS FLED INSIDE THIS FOREST AND THIS IS A STEALTH MISSION, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE ARE YOU ALLOWED TO KILL HIM AS HIS DEATH MAY CAUSE A HUGE WAR. AS SOON AS YOU SEE HIM DO NOT APPROACH HIM ALONE AS HE IS SMART AND MANIPULATIVE. DOU YOU ALL UNDERSTAND?
Soldiers:SIR YES SIR.
???:NOW SPLIT UP.
The soldiers receiving this order started to split and makes small groups, but as one soldier was approaching a tree he tripped on a wire causing the ground to collapse, the hole was deep and huge and at the bottom of the pit were hundreds of wooden spikes. The soldiers were caught off guard as the ground collapsed, more than 200 soldiers fell inside the pit and were directly impaled by the spikes and were killed instantly. Then from the pit a red flare shot out warning the man of the soldiers arrival. The soldiers were all shocked and scared as the ground had suddenly collapsed and many of their friends were killed. That is when they realised, the while forest was filled with traps and these were likely planted by that mad man, the Major Sergeant carefully looked inside the hole and saw that the wooden were not that new, but were old and crusty as if they had been there for a long time already.
Major Sergeant:My God! Judging by the wooden spikes and that flare, they were planted here 7 year before the creation of the flare gun, but how did he even get a flare, did that man already knew that something like this would happen.
The major felt despair as the mission had barely started and they had already lost 200 or so men to one trap, who knew, what other traps could be inside this forest. Major Sergeant than spoke up with a shaky voice and said.
Major Sergeant:M-Men, we must not be disheartened and keep moving forward, now MARCH.
Even though hesitant, the soldiers reluctantly entered the forest slowly. After half an hour of walking, the soldiers started to slowly ease up again thinking that maybe there were no more traps at all, but he was so wrong *click* *Boom*×29 a loud explosion sound came as a soldier had accidentally stepped on a land mine. The land mines were placed in such a way that it caused a chain reaction of explosions to happen killing 491 soldiers inthe process.
Soldier 1:*sobbing* M-Man I-I don't want to b-be here anymore, I don't wanna d-
Before the soldier could finish his sentence, an arrow came flying towards his head piercing his brain and killing him.
Soldier 2-19:AHHHHH
Soldier 5: EVERYONE CALM DOWN, WE MUST REMAIN CA-
Before the 'brave' soldier could finish his sentence, two tree stump came swinging from a nearby tree and they crush his entire chest killing him immediately. The soldiers seeing this panicked and tried to run in all directions, but unfortunately one stepped on wire, as soon as the wire was cut, a giant bear trap made from wood came out of the ground directly beheading all the soldiers. The lifeless corpse of the soldiers became limp and they fell down one by one.
We go to another group of 40 soldiers slowly traversing the forest.
Soldier 27:I think we should near that tree for a while, we have been walking for an hour now and it seems like we have not came across an traps ourselves, so we should be fine for now.
The other soldiers nod in agreement, as they found a big enough tree and after making there were no traps near it and close to the tree was a small pond of fresh water, they decided to rest there. As they slowly sat down one by one they started to talk among themselves.
Soldier 30:Like the Major said, this place is really dangerous, we had just started and have already lost more than 200 hundred soldiers.
Soldiers 59:But we still have to keep going though, we cannot let that man escape, if we let him escape a huge war will start and it may cause thousands if not millions to die because of it.
The other soldiers agreeing just nod their heads, one soldier took out a cigarette out of his pocket and started to smoke it, the other soldiers seeing also took out a cigarette of their own and started to smoke it too. As the smoke emitting from the cigarettes they were smoking hit the tree, something shocking and bizzare happened. *boom* *boom*×26 The seeds of the tree exploded, hitting the soldiers and killing many of them, the soldiers had no time to react at all and were quickly killed the the seeds which were travelling at a whopping speed of 150 miles per hour, even though this speed is not strong enough to kill a person, it can cause great damage as it is the property of the sandbox tree.
As we go to another group of 10 soldier who were traversing the forest haphazardly. As they were walking, they were feeling very thirsty for some reason, they felt as if they had not drank water for more than a month, as the soldiers took out their bottle they drank all the water they had and their thirst was quenched for a while, but after 3 or 4 minutes they felt more thirsty than before and the feeling kept getting worse.
Soldier 184:I am so thirsty, I need something to drink or I will die of dehydration.
Soldier 180:Me too, Oh! Wait look there's water there!
The soldier said while pointing to a small puddle in the distance. The soldiers looked at each other and started to rush towards the puddle, one soldier seeing he was the furthest from the puddle took out his rifle and shot one of his comrades in the head immediately killing him, the other soldiers seeing this also pulled out their rifles and started to shoot at each other. After a couple of rounds all the soldiers except one had fallen dead on the ground, the last soldier even though he survived, was currently bleeding out. But the weird thing was, the soldier felt no pain and instead of tending to his wounds, he instead with a crazed eyes rushed towards to puddle, and he dived towards it and started to drink the water, but instead of his thirst being gone, he became more and more thirsty the more he drank until finally the soldier bled out and died, his corpse and the corpses of his comrades were left there to rot and be eaten by bugs and insects. Now we go to the Major's team.
{Major Sergeant's team}
In the distance, one could hear the screams of men and the sound of explosion. And within a couple moments more than half of the soldiers that entered the forest were already dead. The Major originally wanted to retreat out of the forest and to come back with reinforcements but that was not possible as the ground that surrounds the forest had collapsed, the put was too deep and too long that thinking of jumping over or the idea of going down the pit to climb back up the other side was just dumb, the bottom of the pit could not be seen at all.
Major Sergeant:Soildiers, we will camp here in this place until we receive reinforcements, all die or complete the mission, so start building.
They did receive reinforcements but still did not leave the forest as the mad man was still out on the loose, but they knew the chances of him escaping is 0 as the entire forest was surrounded by the US military.
[MC's POV]
Good day to you all. Let me introduce myself, my name is Eden. I was born on the year 1800 but I do not know where or who gave birth to me as I was abandoned by my biological parents, but luckily I was adopted by two loving people. These two people were a couple who had been married for 60 years but they unfortunately could not have children that made them very sad. But everything changed when they were sitting in the river side admiring the view, a small basket was floating down the river, my future father saw this and grabbed the basket I was in and they looked inside and found a small cute little baby with black hair and azure blue eyes in the basket. The moment they saw me, tears filled up their eyes as I instantly knew they pitied me.
So they decided they were going to adopt me and raise like their own, they loved me so much and I equally loved them back as much as I could. They were also a devout follower of God and they would always read the Bible to me and will always tell me to never do anything that will hurt somebody, and that everything happens for a reason. They told me to be thankful to God for everything that I have today and should always try to be happy with one have and to not ask for more, they told me to never steal, kill, rape, cheat, lie, and many other things, I followed everything they told me to do because I loved them from the bottom of my heart and I would not hesitate to sacrifice my life for them. But, everything comes to an end as good things don't last forever.
I was about 9 years old when it happened and I still remember it all so clearly, it was a rainy day and the entire sky was black. I was sitting near the window looking at the rain, then I heard my mother whose name is Mary call me.
Sweet Eve:Eden, come it is time to eat dinner.
She said in a loving tone, my mother currently is around 85 years old, she is old, sweet and loving.
Eden Naga:Coming mom.
I said happily and excitedly. As I was entering the kitchen to eat my dinner, I could see my dad whose name is Adam sitting in a chair reading newspaper. My father Adam is around 87 years old and like my mother, he is kind and caring for us both.
My mother was 21 and my father was 23 when they met eachother for the first time. They said that they like as if they were meant for eachother the moment they saw the other but were too nervous to approach the other so they just started out as friends, but as time passed my father finally confessed to my mother and that is when they finally became a couple and they finally married to, at the time they were married my mother was 25 years old and my father was 27.
I sat down at table and waited for my mom to hand me the food plate. My mother with two plates in her hand placed one of the plates infront of me and I thanked her by saying.

Onemax9272 On my original plan, the MC was supposed to die at the first chapter but ideas just keeps on popping up in my head, even the Soildiers part is longer than my orginal plan.
