Chapter 9: chapter 8
Brian p.o.v
After the Sophia took me around the town and also the mosque which was extremely beautiful and breathtaking, I couldn't help myself to love it even more.
We then went to a mall where I happen to see another muslim girl whom I wouldn't deny she was extremely beautiful and I found myself staring at her until she disappeared into the crowd.
I even forgot that I had Sophia next to me, I me,I turned around and saw her looking at me, she looked hurt and I really didn't mean to be like a creep, so instead I asked her out so I could explain myself to her.
"Hey sophie, would you like to go out with me?" I asked her with a pleading eyes.
"Wait... what ? Are you asking me out?" She looked confused.
"Yeah I am so are you free this friday?" I asked her.
"Yeah I am free" she said smiling.
"Great I'll meet you after school then" I said .
"Sure I would love that" she said.
Then I offered to take her back to school but she refused so instead I called a taxi and she left.
Later that day, i came back from boxing practice which i had for the day, i saw a girl in a red dress which she looked beautiful in it. As I got closer I remembered her.
She was the same girl who kissed me at the party and also saw at the mall the other day.
Her name was sa.... samra, I remembered her name because of her roommate when I carried her to her room as she passed out after she kissed me.
I didn't bother to ask her name rather I called her and asked her what she was doing at the parking lot and she said that she was going on a date.
I then saw a car heading our way, a guy stopped in front of us and came out of the car, he looked cool and I assumed he was rich as his look gave it away.
He introduced himself and they both got in and drove away. I didn't miss the look she gave me she drove to the busy road.
As I stood there trying to remember something, my phone rang and it was a call from sophie.
"Hey brian, are you free ?" She asked .
"Yeah I am am done for the day" I said.
"So i guess you're ready for our date" she said i guess she was excited.
"Yeah i am so how about we go for dinner then ?" I asked.
"Sure i would love that" she replied.
"I'll wait for you at the parking lot" i said as I saw her walking towards me.
"Wait.... what are you doing here, I thought you were coming here?"she asked confused.
"Actually I was done for the day and was about to call you when i saw samra standing here so i talked to her for a while"
"Oh really what was she doing here?" She asked raising her eyebrow.
"She was here waiting for some guy I think she was going on a date"
"Oh really I wonder " she said.
"Why are you wondering?" I asked curiously.
"Its because samra isn't the type to date any guy unless she has an ideal type which none of the guys in this school are " she said.
"What do you mean an ideal type?" I asked.
"I mean she's rich and doesn't like guys in this school despite how some are rich like her its complicated.
I was curious to know more about samra but I also wanted to know about Sophia so I decided to ignore it since she's already on a date.
"Can we just drop it I don't feel comfortable talking about her " she said sounding annoyed.
"Yeah sure you're right I shouldn't ask in the first place sorry" I apologized.
"No it's ok don't worry I just don't like talking about her and l hope this will be the last time we'll talk about her ok?" She asked.
"You're so right, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable so let's be us right?" I asked smiling at her.
"Yeah and by the way I like your smile, its cute"she complimented me.
"I'll take it as a compliment "I said.
"Hahaha yeah right" she laughed.
I then called a taxi and we were at our destination, as I got out and helped Sophia I saw a familiar face I looked again and saw samra furiously coming out if a restaurant across the road.
She stopped and turn back looking at the window when I saw the guy I met earlier and she looked sad soon she got in a taxi and left.
"What are you looking at?"Sophia asked as she stood next to me.
"Its nothing I thought I saw someone I know " I lied.
"Oh ok shall we?" She asked.
We both went in a dinner as I wasn't that kind of a rich type who goes to expensive restaurants.
"I hope you're not mad as I can't take to luxurious places " I said feeling guilty.
"Don't worry just because I study in an expensive university or from a rich family doesn't always mean I should eat in expensive food, I like simple food so no worries "she said as she took out the menu.
"Wow I didn't expect to hear that from.... you" I smiled.
"Well let's enjoy and have fun" she said scanning the menu.
Soon we ate and had a long conversation then we to an amusement park. I enjoyed every moment and also took pictures in the
Picture booth making funny faces until we faced each other and her face got closer to me.
By then we heard some people knocking so we quickly got out and took out the pictures.
We shared it since it was many of them, then we went to a place where one person shoots basketball and wins a prize.
Luckily I was good at it and I won a panda and gave it to her and she took it while smiling and kissed it.
"Wow man you're lucky to get her that" I heard someone saying it but I ignored him since it was a guy's voice.
Soon we came back and I realized that her outfit was matching with the panda. She wore black jacket and a dress with black and white spots and white hijab.
I then took her to her dorm, she turned around and thanked me for the night then to my surprise she kissed me on the cheeks.
"Goodnight brian" she said and went in.
I didn't know how to react to her so I just smiled and went back, as I walked back to my dorm I remembered seeing samra's sad face I wonder why she was also angry looks like a mystery to me....
