Chapter 4: C4
Is this some sort of reincarnation from the light novels I've been reading, Please make me Overpowered in my next life. Suddenly what appeared to be a human manifested in front of my cluttered eyes. "Rin" I was called out from a voice that echoed throughout the room, "Is that you, god" I uttered out in a loud but delicate voice. "Yes, and you have been involved in this sick game created by us gods". Game...? my mind went blank imaging all possible games this was. "It is a Duo battle royale which consists of 10 people, but you will be assigned a random teammate". My mind went blank and felt as if I was telepo--. I heard the sound of people talking to each other and was suddenly awake. My eyes could not focus on anything, but I looked straight ahead. There were 8 other people in what seemed to be a church. No, wait there's 1 more behind me a female...? with her crimson red eyes peeled on me and I suddenly recall the name "Akane" and associate it with her. My eyes started to focus on the surroundings, the 9 other people and I didn't seem to know what was going on.
I scratched my head
I'd been in my school a few moments ago and then ended up in a white room and now here...?
I changed the direction of my head and found I was in a room with cracked stone walls, I don't think I've ever been here and it was certainly not my school.
The floor was made out of some type of marble with patterns painted on top of square floor tiles. I had just realized that I was holding a box with no certain design or rust, it was just a plain box.
The other 9 people standing with me in the room where also some sort of weird equipment in their hands. "Where are we" 1 of the 9 guys called out followed by "Yeah" from the other 7.
But the girl that was once standing behind me made no statement or any types of movement.
An elderly man with a brown robe walked up to a throne which I never noticed was there and proclaimed "Welcome all to Heaven Royale"
