Chapter 2: Chapter 2
The next day Ian woke up to the sound of his alarm. He grabbed his phone and stops the alarm.
He felt tired. He wants to sleep more. But the image of yesterday event played in his mind. He just hates to think about it again. That was one of the reason why he met Jamie. He did planned to meet Jamie but he plans to meet her the next day. But, his father really pissed him off yesterday and he just wanted something or someone to distract him. So, he decides to drive to Jamie's apartment. Luckily he felt light when he met Jamie. He missed Jamie so much. Jamie is the only one who can make him felt that way. And having sex with her last night really made him forgot everything that keep bothering his mind.
Ian look at his side. There, laying his sweetheart, his beloved girlfriend. Jamie was laying on her stomach and her ass exposed as the blanket already being thrown away. Ian carved a small smile while tracing his finger on Jamie's back down to her butt then to her back again. He could feel that Jamie shivered by his touch but she didn't wake up, instead snuggle her face more onto the comfy pillow. He loved Jamie so much and he wants to live with her for the rest of his life. But, the thought of his father forcing him to marry with that certain rosy haired girl, snapped him out from his little imagination.
He groans in frustration. If he disobey what his father says, means his father won't admit him as part of the Lee's family anymore. Why his father willing to threaten him just for him to marry that girl, who he learns the name was Irene.
"I love you so much Jamie." Ian whispered and leaned in to kiss the crown of his girlfriend's head. He then got up and put on his clothes that he picks on the floor while staring at Jamie's sleeping figure. "I'm sorry. I have to do this." Ian mutters under his breath.
It was hard actually for him to say that. He don't want to do it but he had to. Before he leave the apartment he draped the blanket on Jamie's body and left a note on the nightstand.
As much as he wanted to keep it as a secret, he knew one day Jamie will know about it. And he cannot imagine how Jamie will react. But for sure, he didn't want to break up with Jamie even after he's already being a husband. Fuck all that husband thingy. He promises to himself that he will never give his love to Irene. He only wants Jamie. Only Jamie! No one else. And he will make sure to make Jamie officially his one day.

It was calm in the morning in the Lee's mansion. The mansion was far away from other houses and far from busy road. The scenery around the mansion is so breathtaking as there's a hill at the back of the mansion and the mansion was surrounded with many types of flowers. Its all fresh. Thanks to the gardeners that always took care of them. When Irene still study back then, she always gave a help during weekend. But, after graduating she usually helps her mother clean the mansion and even helped her cooking.
Every morning, when Irene woke up, she will open the balcony door first for her to take a fresh air. It's good for health.
Irene stretched her body while yawning when she steps out to the balcony of her room. She smiles widely because it was her first day to work.
Talking about work, she forgot to tell her parents that she got accepted to work at the restaurant that she always dream of. Finally, it wasn't a dream anymore.
After appreciating the beautiful scenery for a good five minutes, Irene went inside as its already a good time for her to take a bath. She don't want to be late for her first day.
After 15 minutes, she steps out from the bathroom and choose a suitable cloth for her to wear. She choose white sweatshirt with a pink line on the chest and matching it with a black slacks. While she was putting her cloth on, she hears a car just entered the mansion and later she heard a loud 'fuck off' coming out from a not so familiar voice but still Irene can recognize it, echoing throughout the mansion. She's sure that was Ian, coming home from wherever he spends the night.
Not wanting to think more about that certain handsome guy, Irene just proceed what she did before. She then combed her rosy haired and makes a ponytail.
When she's sure that everything is done, she gives a small smile to her reflection before grabbing her bag. She makes her way to the kitchen, the place where she can easily find her mother.
"Good morning mom!" Irene greets when she saw her mother was busy cleaning the kitchen counter. She sat in front of her mother.
"Good morning dear." Irene's mother replied with a smile. She took the food that she's already prepared for her daughter and put it in front of Irene. "Where are you going this early?" She asks with a frowned. She felt weird. Seemed like her daughter is going out. After graduating, usually Irene always stays at home and helps her do the chores since her daughter still didn't get any job. Irene rarely went out after graduating except for a few days ago where she had a trip with her ex-classmates. So, that's why she found its weird.
"I'm going to work. Today is my first day." Irene said before she take a sipped of the coffee. Her mother was frowning deeply, still not understand what her daughter meant. Irene got the hint and she remembered that she still not telling her parents that she got the job at the place that she always dreamt to work. She was supposed to tell that news to her parents but the sudden discussion about her marriage with Lee Ian and the harsh words that came out from the latter had turns her mood down. She forgot about everything and just straight to her bedroom, not wanting to discuss anything with her parents. "You remember that I told you yesterday I have an interview at that restaurant?" Irene asks. Her mother tapped on her chin to recall it back. After a few seconds, she nods. "I got accepted." Irene squealed excitedly. Her mother widened her eyes before running a little to her daughter and hugged her tightly. Irene giggles when her mother kissed her cheeks several time. She could see that her mother also happy for her.
"I'm happy for you Irene." She said when she proceeds to do a cleaning. Irene grinned widely while taking a bite of the nutella bread. "Irene, have you think about it?" Irene's mother asks suddenly and it made Irene stops from finishing her bread. She understand what her mother meant. She fix her gaze on the plate, not wanting to meet with her mother's knowing eyes.
Irene knew that her parents was feeling guilty for her. She had witnessed by herself that they felt guilty. Their faces in the living room yesterday show it all. They were stuck in the middle, between Mister Lee and Irene. Mister Lee had always being nice with them and they couldn't have a heart to refuse Mister Lee's request. Meanwhile Irene, their only daughter and of course they wants the best for her. They wants Irene to have a happy life with someone that she loves, not with a stranger that she barely know or to be exact Lee Ian. Irene had thought about it last night and she pitied her parents. Of course her parents wanted to repay Mister Lee's kindness and if Irene marrying Lee Ian was enough for them to repay the good treat they got, so she's willing to give all her heart to live with Lee Ian for the rest of her life.
"If that's the only way that we can repay their kindness, I'm willing to fulfill Mister Lee's wish. I'm willing to give my life to Lee Ian." Irene mutters under her breath while trying to hold back her tears.

The day had come. The day where Irene will give all of her life to Ian. To be honest, Irene wasn't ready to this marriage, but, she didn't want to disappoint Mister Lee and she never say no to her parents' request. Her father had said that it's for her own good. After all, she did all of this because of her parents and she thought that if this marriage was enough for her to pay back the Lee's kindness, then she will do it even though the Lee never asked for it.
However, Irene still doubting where's this marriage will be going after this? Will they be happy? Will Ian loves her? She was doubting it because there's no love between them. She can make sure of it by the way Ian was looking at her with so much hatred.
They only met for the first time and that first time was the time where Mister Lee had announced about their marriage. The truth was, Mister Lee never asks them if they agreed or not, but instead he just said that he wants the both of them to get married.
So, the day when Irene said that she's ready to marry Ian, she could see the glimpse of happiness in Mister Lee's eyes, and that day she told herself that she will try to give all of her heart to love Lee Ian as her husband. And Irene never thought that Ian will confess, in a very calm and heart-warming voice, that he's ready for this marriage.
Irene was snapped out from her thought when she felt a strong arm circling around her slender waist. She looks up and notice Ian was standing beside her while saying 'thank you' to the guests with a smile flashed on his face. This man beside her had officially being her husband.
"What are you thinking huh?" Ian whispers in a cold tone but his face still flashed a bright smile to the guests that saying congratulation to them.
"N-nothing." Irene stutters. She then did like what Ian did, smiling to everyone and bowed politely to them.
"Aww! Both of you looks so cute together." Ian's mother cooed when she walks to them. She pinched Irene's face lightly.
Ian only smiles at his mother's comment and he pulls Irene closer to him and kiss Irene's cheek. His action only made his mother squealed and attract most of the guest's attention. Reporters also didn't stop from taking their pictures.
Lee Corporation was one of the biggest company in Korea, so no doubt that the wedding ceremony was grand. The reporters also were invited as to spread the Lee's heir marriage.
Irene didn't know how to react. She was nervous, for sure. And Ian acted all lovey-dovey and its made Irene's heart skip a beat. She thought, maybe, just maybe Ian was trying to accept this marriage and accept to live with her.
