Chapter 65: CHANGING MINDS AND CHANGING HEARTS

Jonah POV

"She's here Ash!" Merrick excitedly told our nephew as the little boy bounced up and down in the room, clearly excited that his mom was finally in my packhouse.

"I'll ask my parents to bring her up." I nodded to him as I reached out to link my father.

'Dad, Merrick says Amaya has arrived.' I told him, waiting for a response.

'I see her convoy pulling up. Won't you come down to receive her?' He asked me.

It was customary for Alphas to greet their guests at the door, but seeing as there was an urgent matter I needed to discuss with her in private, I decided against it.

'No, but bring her up to my office as soon as she gets here. Ash and Merrick are with me, her mother and Ashley are in the kitchens. There is something I need to talk with her about.' I told my dad as I looked at the innocent child in the room.

'Alright. Be nice to her, Jonah. She's still hurting too.' Dad warned me, much to my annoyance.
