Chapter 97: Plans

Theodore expected Daniel to retort, but he didn't. This made him feel very flustered.

He placed his hand on Daniel's shoulder. "I am saying this because I want the best for you and your brother.”

“Don’t tell me what is best for me.” Daniel shrugged his hand from his shoulder. “I am big enough to make my own decisions.”

He then walked a few steps, but stopped midway. He then looked at Theodore. “If I decide to take things further with Emma, no one can stop me. Not even you, grandpa.”

“You—”

Daniel walked away without giving Theodore a chance to snap at him. He really didn’t care what Theodore thought. As long as he didn’t cross the line, Daniel had no problem with him.
