Chapter 7: Confused.
Fred definitely knew that the phone call Jess received at his place was her boyfriend's call, he knew what was going on but kept shut.
Jess on the other hand was still trying to wrap everything that had happened with Fred together in her mind, but it was too much for her mind, she might lose her mind soon.
'he kissed me'she placed her hand on her lips remembering how he had pulled her into his warm arms, lifted her face and kissed her,the kiss she has been longing for since she saw him, but he is a player, could it be that he is trying to play her, does he want to woo her into his bed and then dump her?. She can't fall a victim of heartbreak especially not for a player,but why is she feeling the way she is feeling right now?, 'it's just a kiss Jessica get over it','but he is so cute, oh no what's wrong with me? '
She got a message from Fred saying
'Hey, come check something outside '
She became puzzled and inquisitive, she wanted to ask him why but decided to go check it out, on reaching close to door, she saw Fred in front of her house, her uncle's house 'what the...?','this dude must be crazy'...
She ran down to meet him and she wished she could give him a hard smack on the head if possible.'what are you doing here, she asked him with panic written in her voice and all over her face. He didn't say anything but he grabbed her by the waist and kissed the last moisture from her lips, he kissed her like she has never been kissed,with so much hunger and desire in his in eyes he made her want more of the kiss, but she remembered they are doing the wrong thing at the wrong place and at the wrong time ,then she came back to her senses
'no, no, no!, you are gonna get me killed dammit'
'then I'm ready to die with you'he said with a childish look on his face.
'I'm serious Fred, you are gonna get me in trouble again ',what are you doing here? ''I've been trying to reach you but you ain't picking my calls since yesterday's event','I just wanted to see you again Jessie,I've missed you badly
'Fred we can't be doing this,please'
Jessie please be mine, I've fallen so badly for you that I can't even think straight, be my girlfriend Jessica '
Jess wanted to give in to his request but Harry, oh no.
'Fred, I told you I have a boyfriend, why are you even doing this '
He grabbed her hands
'Jessie I know you have a boyfriend, all I'm asking is that you find a place in your heart for me'
'Are you saying I should break up with my boyfriend for you? '
'I'm saying you should give me a chance Jessica '
Jess has realised that he calls her Jessica whenever he is serious.
'I'm sorry Fred, we can't',I mean I can't do what you are asking from me'
'Jessica please'
she ran upstairs leaving Fred down with his hands stretched out trying to reach her.
Jess is confused, she wanted to be his girlfriend, that has always been her dream, but he is damn player, this is the same dude she normally see with like three different per day, he is a born player, born to flirt, but she is with Harry, Harry gave her a chance to see the other side of her, Harry gave her hope, he makes her happy, he always tries to reach out whenever she is in need ,she can't leave him for a player and he promised Harry that he would be her first, she can't let this Fred get her, no way,.Fred kept calling and texting her, asking her to consider him,but she continued to ignore his calls and texts .
Harry came back the next day and Jess went to welcome him at his place, they were playing their love play when Fred started calling her again, though she had deleted all the texts from Fred so Harry won't see them.But Fred kept calling that Harry noticed and asked who was calling her.
'It's my neighbor,Fred'
'why is he calling you? '
'I don't know, he does that all the time'
'Can I answer it for you? '
'Don't worry , I got it' Jess said as she switched off her phone,she doesn't want to have problems with Harry.
Harry didn't ask further questions about Fred, he just assumed that it was one of those guys pestering Jess, and this was exactly what Jess wanted him to think. She still want to enjoy her relationship with Harry,though she is confused .
