A tear ran down the side of Reginald's face as he felt the pain of losing an alpha. It was very devastating.

He bent his body and rested his forehead against Alpha Dillion's still face with wide eyes.

"I'm sorry."

He apologized and the tear in his eyes fell onto the face of the motionless man.

The truth was that Dillion would've been saved but the moment he saw Nina and then the werewolf's appearance changed, it was then Reginald knew the serpent demoness had done something to him.

Reginald's face contorted in pain as he held Dillion's lifeless body close to him.

There was a connection werewolves had and once that connection got broken, the pain was unbearable.

Although they were from different packs, they were alphas and they felt the connection more.
