"I will go and change, Dad," she said and walked away from his presence, Old Man Bill was in deep thought.
His phone started ringing, he turned to the screen and the I.D was a hidden number, he guessed that it must be Chin calling.
He picked up his phone.
Chin came out of the eatery that he had met with the man who had told him that Old Man Bill had no hand in his troubles.
"Bill, there is a new development, I don't know if you have any useful information from your end, my factory was raided, do you know anyone who will want you down?" he asked.
Old Man Bill wanted to flare up but hearing what Chin had said, he knew Chin is also been attacked.
"I don't know Chin, but I know it has to do with the underworld, I don't know who rules there anymore, he has been anonymous, and I don't bother about revealing his identity till" he answered.
Chin sighed, the driver on the driver's seat ignited the car's engine and trotted towards the end of the street.
"stay connected, Bill, I will find the motherfucker messing with us" he promised before ending the call.
Old Man Bill was silent, realizing that Chin doesn't have a hand in those people trying to fight him.
Arial arrived at the bar and entered, she saw a few people drinking and looked towards the counter, he saw Jo's back.
She quickly strode towards him, feeling somewhat uncomfortable about the low-end bar, the paparazzi might overblow the situation if she is captured.
She came to him and put her hand on his shoulder, Jo turned to her with his heavy eyes "Hey, Arial.." he said, smiling awkwardly.
"you had so much to drink, why did you want to get yourself, drunk Jo?" she asked, upset about his drinking habit.
Jo sighed realising that she isn't aware of why he is drunk "I feel hurt, Arial, I just had to be on a few bottles" he got hold of the glass, Arial intervened and took it from him.
Joseph turned to her with pleading eyes "let me just have a sip, Arial, am very tasty" he said with a distressed face.
Arial heart moved in agony, she now came to understand Joseph have been in anguish.
"stop drinking, Jo, it isn't healthy for you, you just have to concentrate on handling the issues that have been messing with you," she said, hoping earnestly that he reasons with her.
Jo nodded slowly, and fell face flat on the counter, the bartender walked close to them "is he your boyfriend?" she asked, Arial doesn't know how to answer.
She smiled "he is my friend" she responded, the bartender nodded.
"I think he loves you," she said and used the wiper to clean the counter's surface.
Arial tried to lift Joseph, but he was very heavy, the bartender seeing her discomfort "I will send some men to help you" she
