Chapter 19: Portal
'Why did you help them?'
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
'You know what I am talking about.'
"*sigh* It was a good manga that is why. And the ending was sad for Keiji. I mean he has lived through the same day 160 times and also died 160 times. And the death were quite gruesome if I so myself. But when he finally found someone he could share his problem with, the very next day he had to kill that person. That is sad even for someone like me."
'That pretty stupid for a Herscherr like you.'
"Meh~ It's stupid, but it's my thing now."

While I was flying myself towards the direction of the nearest Mimic herd, I started choosing which weapon should I use today.
'I think you should start deciding on your fighting style.'
What?
'Your fighting style. When you get your Herrscher form it will be based on what you want the most, what you need the most and also what you do the most.'
So you are telling me to make sure what I specialise in? Huh, let's see...
Though I use weapons but my most strongest abilities don't require weapons. Actually, I wouldn't need any kind of weapon of I am able to master all of my abilities, I mean, I am using the God Keys to help me control my abilities.
I suddenly spot a huge herd of mimics and drop down to the ground. I grab one mimic and then crush it. The others tried to shoot the huge javelins towards me but all of them miss me by an inch. Ideal Fluid is so awesome. I use Star of Eden to send concentrated Gravitational rays towards them. The mimics get impaled by the rays and fall down to the ground, dead. Then I use my Void Hands to rip apart the other Mimics. Suddenly, I feel a huge increase in my strength.
This is also applicable for Mimics?
'Yes. Those are Sentient organisms.'
Wow~ Let's go kill some more.

While I was busy decimating another herd of mimics, I suddenly asked a question to Sirin.
"Hey Sirin. Why am I even trying to get stronger?"
'... If you want to go to other universes then you have to become a lot stronger. Especially, if you want to go my home universe.'
"Why would I want to go there?"
'To not become like Ehit? Who is actually an insane God but is just acting amicable because someone else is backing us up?'
"Is your universe fun?"
'No. It is dangerous.'
"But aren't I strong enough?"
'That is against enemies who can't even use Honkai Energy and so have no effective ways to block your attacks.'
"Huh... Looks like I have to get stronger if I want to go to that universe."
One of the mimics tried to ambush me from behind but the mimic suddenly collapses into a black sphere. I dismiss my Star of Eden and think about what I should do next.
If I remember correctly, in the manga they said that the Mimics were actually a creature created by aliens to help them capture and terraform this planet. But where do they even come from. From space sure, but from where in space? A nearby planet?
Suddenly my eyes widen in realisation. They donot come from this solar system, not even this galaxy infact. I can see it. I can a portal. A moon-sized portal right behind Mars. I can see it clearly. Not only that I can see everything clearly, every molecule, every atom in my surroundings. Even the way the corpses of the Mimics bend Spacetime. Suddenly, as if something is cut I have a sudden headache and everything returned back to normal.
What was that?
'That was... the ability of the First Herscherr. The Herrscher of Reason who can see the fabric of reality itself.'
Wow... That was something else... That was overwhelming... That was overbearing... That was overloading... That was just too much.
I don't think my mind can handle one of those again anytime soon. But atleast I have found where I want to go right now.
I start floating upwards towards the skies but suddenly remembered that many Mimics are still alive in this world.
Then I had an idea and try to do something that will only be possible in theory. I use a lot of energy to create a parallel reality on top of the existing one and shift myself to that new reality. I create hundreds of Void Lances and launch them towards the locations of the Mimics that I had saw with the power of Reason just now. Some go parallel to the surface, some pass through the surface at an angle and some even go right though the surface. The ones that reached the core of the planet are all destroyed, the ones that went through the mantle are also destroyed. Looks like I might me immune to fire but the chaotic magnetic fields and intense heat in the core disrupts the parallel reality that the Lances are travelling through which causes the reality to collapse in on itself.
But the one that didn't go through the Mantle are completely fine and have killed all the target Mimics. This time I send some more Lances but made them go around the Core of the planet. This time the Lances were completely fine and have all killed their targets.
Currently, except a nearly dozen all the Mimics have been exterminated. And though the power boost from it was massive. But it is nothing compared to the excitement that I am feeling just thinking about how much power I would have if I could erase their home colony.
I slowly lift myself off of the ground and start accelerating towards the skies. Though I am not as fast as Benares and it might take me quite sometime to reach the portal. Something is telling me that it will be worth it.
