Chapter 2: Identity
Specs of light appeared in the room before materializing into different figures; some were humanoid and some were straight up mechs. These figures' eyes started glowing ominous red which looked intimidating, the target of their gaze was the boy in the middle of the room.
The boy gazed back at them with a calm look. His calm composure would be something you won't expect from a boy that seems to be around mid teens, it was more like from an experienced assassin.
*Click* *Swoosh!* *Bzzz*
A sudden click resounded before a buzzing sound was heard followed by the activation of the weapon in his hand. It unfolded into a futuristic sci-fi looking scythe that was well over two meters in length, taller than him.
His raven black hair was reflected off the scythe's blade as his amber golden eyes gave off a sharp feeling to them as he stared at the targets in front.

*Swoosh!* *Swoosh!* *Swoosh!*
The projected enemies started firing attacks towards him. On the other hand, he rushed forward while weaving through attacks. He twirled his scythe to generate momentum then easily slashed through the first target.
*Boom!*
The target exploded upon being cut but he didn't stop. As energy blasts were being fired his way, he dodged left, right, and jumping over attacks before slashing through the targets.
His sharp gaze tracked each energy blast and maneuvered skillfully.
*Swish!* *Swoosh!*
*Booom!* *Booom!*
*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*
*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*
The boy dodged an incoming attack from a weapon wielding enemy. He twirled his scythe and countered, easily hitting the enemy's sword causing it to be thrown away. Then he followed by doing a 360 turn and slashing at the enemy.
*Boom!*
[Battle simulation complete. Tallying results...]
[Final Evaluation: Full Marks]
*Pssshhhhh~!*
The whole room lit up and the enemies disappeared as light particles.
Aldrich walked out of the training room and was greeted by a short young girl with black and blue-shaded hair in a short neck-length bell-shaped bob, and blue eyes. She handed him a towel and a bottle of water.
"Thanks, Seele."
"Um, y-you're welcome, Al." She replied meekly with a lightly flushed face.
As the two started walking, Aldrich made small talk.
"I heard matushka brought back a girl."
"Yes, she's currently in the infirmary." Seele glanced at the serious looking Aldrich before hesitantly spoke. "Um, matushka called for you at the infirmary."
Aldrich nodded, "Then let's go."

Upon entering the infirmary, they saw a beautiful mature blonde woman waiting for them.
"Matushka," Aldrich acknowledged the woman's presence.
"Good morning," Cocolia gave them a motherly smile which Seele returned bashfully.
"So this is her...?" Aldrich glanced at the sleeping girl lyinhlg on the white bed with silver hair tied into two drills.
"Yes, some people hired her to assassinate me. Fufufu~ those fools," Cocolia chuckled darkly.
"They sent this girl after you? They're truly fools," Aldrich commented. Of course he was aware that some young people does have the necessary strength but that is only special cases.
"Don't underestimate her. She's quite well known, you know." Cocolia smiled slightly. "She is the silver wolf of the Urals."
"Hm?" Aldrich took another glance at the sleeping girl being nursed by Seele. He was a bit surprised to know that information. However, he soon shook it all off after the silver-haired girl suddenly opened her eyes and swiftly grabbed the arm of the Seele before pulling her.
*Swoosh!*
However, at the same time, Aldrich moved swiftly and grabbed the shoulder of Seele and grabbed a nearby fruit knife with his right then put it beside the neck of the silver-haired girl.
It happened so fast the silver-haired girl couldn't process what just happened.
"I suggest you release her if you know what's good for you," Cocolia said. After glancing at the knife on her neck for a second, the silver-haired girl complied.
"What's your name, little sniper?" The woman continued.
"Bronya"
Aldrich also retracted the knife back while Seele hid behind him.
"It seems your fame isn't just for show huh." Aldrich recalled how fast the girl reacted.
"..."
"...The silent type, are we?" He quipped.
Cocolia chuckled watching the short interaction.
"Now now, stop it, Al." She then turned to Bronya. "You don't have anywhere to stay, right? Why don't you live here?"
"... You're trying to invite someone that tried to kill you?" Bronya stared at Cocolia feeling gobsmacked.
"Fufu~ Many people are after me," Cocolia chuckled. "Yet no one has succeeded so don't worry about it."
"...."
.....
"...!"
Aldrich suddenly woke up and looked around before calming down. He sat on his seat on his way to a vacation destination. He was seated on a first class cabin.
"So those are the memories of this body's previous owner, huh." He muttered softly.
He wasn't sure how but it seems he got new memories along with a new body. He attributed the memories to possibly this body's previous owner.
"But that's weird," He thought back to the letter he received upon waking up. "Shouldn't I get the chance to design my preferred appearance? I mean, this look is what I was going for. Maybe it's automatic?"
However, he didn't dwell much further on the subject. Instead, he looked forward to the fun he'll have during his planned vacation. Surely, nothing would go wrong with this trip, right?
As for the memories, he'll leave it up to his future self.
'First stop - Haiti.'
He once again closed his eyes with a smile.
.....
"Ahhh, just where did you go, you stupid old man!" Shouted a white haired girl in frustration.
"Your last trace was here, in Haiti." She gritted her teeth. "I'll surely find and give you a good beating, just you wait."
Upon saying so, the girl dashed off, leaving the disappearing corpse of creatures with metallic like outer shell and purple lines behind her.

A/N: Forgot to mention this last time but updates are inconsistent since I will write with my own pace. I won't force myself to write like previously so I won't get drained extremely fast like last time.
This first chapter is surely gonna be a bit confusing but it'll tie all in later chapters, I hope.
