My world isn't like the fairy tales, with a world of only humans. My world is a mix of many races, humans, demons, angels, snakes, bears, wolves, Phoenix and about any other creature you can picture all living together. As a Hitwoman I've had many targets, human or other. The beasts and the humans, its funny in a sick way... humans and beasts have mated and had kids, those kinds of targets are worth twice as much as a human or regular beast. Those children are different from both parents, they can be human then be a beast when they feel like it. Being a Hitwoman isn't my only secret I withhold from my family, I have many but one is I'm one of those half human half beast children. My mother is human, father was a Jaguar..I can shift from a human form to a dark gray Jaguar with lighter gray spots, as far as I can tell my mother never told my husband about my father, or my kids... and I'm sure my husband is human but I'm not sure. His parents died when he was little, and had spent most of his life in the human government system for orphans, unless he kept the beast half a secret they wouldn't know. My children most likely won't be able to shift fron human to Jaguar, but if they do I'll have to explain myself, I was jolted from my thoughts when my phone rang. I saw it was my boss calling, I was tempted to just let it ring but chose to answer it instead, "hey boss, what's with the call on my day off?" I asked as I walked onto my patio, "yeah sorry Wolfe, but we need you to work overtime. If you tag and bag the target, your paycheck will be tripled. Understood?" I was dumbfounded, wait my usual paycheck is 120,000. If it tripled it would be... !! I dropped my phone then scrambled to pick it up, "y-yes sir, understood! Send me the location and I'll get the target." The line disconnected and I ran into the house to change for the mark. I sent my husband a quick text letting him know I had overtime for a pay increase. I grabbed my purse and made sure I had my keys, running to the car I imagined the pay increase for this target. He must be someone important to rack up that kind of increase in pay.
