Chapter 3: Ava
Hi, I'm Ava and I want to tell you about my high school experience.
I attend Willow Park High School. My school is an all-girls school. Yup no boys at all. Forget about that lets get straight to my high school experience.

{This story is about being bullied for being myself}
My parents have always made sure that I focus on only my studies and no distractions(boys) so I try my best to study hard for my mom. I have always been getting good grades and getting top in my whole school. However, most of my classmates dislike that I am good in every class and bully me about it.
Another test was coming up and I really needed to study. However, all my notes were in my bookbag which Mia had stolen that day, and since I had no friends I could not ask anyone to give me the pages. So, I tried my best to study as many pages even though I could not remember the topic.
On the day of the test, I felt I did badly since I could not study, and Mia came over to gloat about how I would not be Miss Smartypants anymore. We waited for our grades to come back and I do not know how but I was able to get Full marks on my exams. This made me happy, but Mia certainly was not happy about it. Which meant she took her anger out on me even more. I was bullied for several weeks and what was worse was that many of my classmates just stood by to watch it.
After being bullied for so long I could not take it. I needed to stand up for myself for once. I went to Mia and told her if she didn't stop, there would be consequences but she thought I was bluffing but I was dead serious. She continued after multiple chances to stop. So, one day I got up and went straight to the principal and told him everything. He called in Mia and asked her if this was true but of course she lied and said no. The principal said he could not believe me without someone backing up my story.
I knew no one and thought no one was going to back me up because why would they. As I got up to leave the principal office one of Mia's friends came in and said everything, I was saying was right. Mia looked crossed. She stood up for me but why. After hearing everything, the principal called Mia's mom and gave her suspension.
I felt happy but still confused as to why Mia's friend who helped Mia bully me helped me. So I went to ask her and she said she didn't want to bully me she just wanted to fit in, and she thought if she followed Mia she would but she just felt bad for doing those terrible things.
After a couple of months passed, Mia never messed with me with me again and I got a new friend.
And that is my high school experience.

This Taught me a lesson. That you should stick up for yourself and not let anyone walk over you. If you see someone being bullied it would help them if you spoke up.
