"You've gained another one. You're really speeding up the process, Eli. Are you worried about something?" Noah questioned Eli while they sat in the back of a car heading back to Eli's home. The driver was one of Eli's trusted men so they could speak freely. 

Eli sat beside Noah with his arms folded and eyes closed as always while listening to Noah. "We need to be prepared for what's to come. My father is planning on officially becoming king again."

"It really doesn't make much sense. Why does he want to become king again in this kind of era? There was a reason we decided we wouldn't need a king anymore. However, if he succeeds, it means you would be officially a prince again," Noah realized. Eli would also become Charles's successor for the crown. No wonder Charles was seeking out Eli so much.
