Chapter 8: Chapter 8- A Break Up

The day after I received the love letter was quite typical, the only thing that happened in particular, was that Ramona, had came to see me on the roof, or so I think. Anyways, we talked on the roof during lunch break, it was one of the most enjoyable conversations I had had with anyone in quite a while, so after thinking about it for a while, I can't help but wonder if there was some kind of secret purpose to why she was talking to me. Me and Ramona had continued to talk, text, and call, for the following weeks, I have also noticed that her and Joey have some what grown further apart, I could tell that as Joey and Ramona had started distancing themselves from each other, him and Sarah had gotten closer. If it's as I remember, it was a Monday, I had seen Sarah and Joey kissing, and I was confused, because Joey is my friend and so is Ramona, but this is considered cheating, right? so I told her. On this very Monday I had found out that Joey and Ramona had broken up over a month ago, and it was to my surprise too. No one ever told me this. She explained the entire scenario to me, and how them and their relationship was growing further and further apart, causing the break up. I guess this means he wasn't cheating, but wait, this means, him and Sarah are dating! well, I suppose I was helping her get to this goal, but still it hurts. To see the girl you like, chase after your best friend, and succeed. I suppose it's always been this way though, Joey has always been a ' Ladies ' man, and since Sarah is the ' Popular ' and ' Pretty ' girl, Joey gets to be with her. That's the way the world works right? Right.
