"Vincent, how did you climb up here? Why didn't you use the front door? You can ask the bodyguards to let you in. You don't need to do such a stunt!"

Worries exhibited on her pretty face. She watched as Vincent shook his head and noticed the sadness flashing in his eyes.

"Why is that?" she asked.

"Shush. Lower your voice, Hail." He looked anxious, but the tenderness in his eyes melted her away. Hailee blushed upon being this close to Vincent, where his palm gently covered half of her lower face. "Your dad prohibited me from seeing you. So your bodyguards did not let me in."

His following words confuse her.

"What? Why would Dad do that?" She couldn't think of any reason for her dad, Jacob, would give out such an order. Then, something struck her. With round eyes, she asked with horror. "Don't tell me you sneak in."
