Chapter 609: Still a Long Way to Go
In the next few days, Iris and Jin Chonglin busied themselves promoting their next single together and attended quite a number of interviews while doing so. It was unavoidable that the topic of the bomb incident would be broached in these interviews. Iris was asked the most about it because she was established early on as the main target of the attack.
"It has been revealed that Zhu Ning is the real mastermind behind the bomb incident. Many remember that she has threatened both you and your mother, the Viscountess Lan, in public before. It has also been reported that there is evidence proving her crimes of planning the attack with her alleged lover, Tian Kong, the bomber and main perpetrator of the bomb incident, against you. What's your opinion about this, Iris?" a host asked her during one of the interviews.

ArriaCross For those of you who didn't know, I flew to Shanghai, China during the second week of January and met with 4 other authors: TheBlips, ash_knight17, Biako & Legion20. We attended China Literature Awards.
Good news is that "His Genius Wife is a Superstar" won an award. I was so nervous that I was shaking when I received the trophy. I even forgot my entire speech when I saw the huge crowd in the audience from the stage. Good thing I remembered in the end. I'm just glad I didn't trip and fall on my face.
What's more, one of my award presenters was my favourite Chinese webnovel author, Butterfly Blue ("The King's Avatar"). I was able to get his autograph and picture. Not only him, but I also got an autograph & photo with Jiong Jiong You Yao ("Full Marks Hidden Marriage" & "Perfect Secret Love") & Ding Mo ("Our Glamorous Time" & "When a Snail Loves"). I also met other authors such as Ye Fei Ye ("Bringing the Nation's Husband Home") & Cuttlefish That Loves Diving ("Lord of the Mysteries"). I was so starstruck! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to ask for everyone's autographs and pictures.
Receiving the award still feel surreal to me. I'm so thankful to WN for giving me a platform to share this story and of course to all of you for reading & supporting my work. It's all thanks to you that I was able to receive this award in China.
