Chapter 6: Chapter: 6, She made a mistake by trusting someone...

"Aayat..." Rehana Begum shouted softly, touching his head. Feeling this, Aayat raised her head from her knees and looked at Rehana Begum's worried face.

Her eyes were empty of any emotion, there was nothing in them except for the glistening tears which were describing the painful state of her heart and mind. Seeing her like this, Rehana Begum's heart was torn. She wanted to stop saying anything related to this topic but before she could say anything.

"I'm ready, Amy." When Aayat said this, Rehana Begum could not believe her ears, and she looked at her with astonishment and disbelief.

Rehana Begum's heart leaped with joy at her answer, and she couldn't help but move and Hugged her to her bosom. She still could not believe that she had said that. After all these years of constant refusals, she has said yes to getting married.

"Aayat, my daughter, my sweetheart, you have no idea how happy I am feeling."

"But I have a condition…"

Rehana begum moved away from her and looked at her with a questioning gaze. " What condition?"

"The person you want me to marry," she was looking straight into Rehana Begum's eyes. The tears she was trying to hold back for so long, finally flowed out with her next words.

"Let me tell him the truth about myself, and if he still wants to marry me knowing my past, then I have no problem," Aayat said, in a strong tone.

But hearing the condition of Aayat, her mother put her hand on her mouth in disbelief and shook her head glaring at her daughter.

"You won't do anything like that!" She said a little harshly this time.

"Why, Ammi.? Do you think no one will marry me once they know the truth? Then why do you want that? when you know very well that after what happened to me no one will marry me, then why?"

Her condition was becoming hysterical, her whole body was shaking with her sobs, her pinkish white color had turned red from her crying.

The thing she had been worried about and wanted to avoid since the morning was finally happening, and like every time today, she was on the verge of breaking her mother's heart. But what could she do?

What can she do? Start her life with a lie?

Because she and her mother both knew very well what had happened to her and the society she was living in, they won't ask her if she's fine instead, they will only blame her for that accident and call her a characterless whom no man would accept.

Then why doesn't she give up her stubbornness.?!

"Try to understand Aayat, don't say these things...." Seeing her condition, Her mother was hurting, she wanted her to stop saying these things, but now it was too late.

She lay down there and started crying loudly.

Rehana Begum did not understand how she could handle her daughter's shattered life. How to make her understand that it was not her fault, She is not defiled by anyone, she was still as pure as she was before that accident.

It's been five years already, they thought time would heal her from her painful memories, but Aayat was still as broken and shattered as she was then when five years ago she had told her about that accident.

Sitting beside Aayat, she began to caress her hair. She was worried about her. Her doctor has told them not to stress her out for anything. But she selfishly only thinks about her happiness to see her daughter settled.

Aayat was right, even if what happened to her was not her fault, in this society, no one will accept her truth.

Tears began to flow from her eyes as well.

Feeling her mother's touch, Aayat put her head on her mother's lap and hugged her. She was crying like a small child with her head in her lap and Rehana Begum, who was feeling guilty and pained to see her like this, would sometimes silence her and sometimes stroke her hair and kiss her hair.

But Aayat didn't say anything after that, she was just silently crying.

Her past was not something she could forget, it was embedded in her heart and soul to always remind her of her mistake.

She made a mistake by trusting someone...
