Chapter 9: Chapter 9 - Round 2!!!

----------------MIU'S PERSPECTIVE----------------

As I struggled to rise from the ground following the Yakuza's forceful treatment, excruciating pain shot through my arm, causing me a great deal of discomfort. Although I couldn't discern any signs of a fracture, the agony was unbearable and made it impossible for me to apply any substantial pressure. My assumption leaned towards a possible fracture due to the intensity of the pain. As my gaze fixed on Yang confronting the formidable Yakuza Boss, his expression etched with sheer terror, it was evident that fear had engulfed him entirely. The overwhelming power exerted by this individual had rendered us completely defenseless and at his mercy.

Nevertheless, in a surprising turn of events, Yang proceeded to engage in a series of movements resembling a form of martial arts known as Kata. I swiftly identified this particular Kata as one that had been passed down to me by my grandfather, sparking curiosity about where the person had acquired such knowledge and skill in this ancient practice. It appeared that performing the Kata aided in his composure as he assumed a defensive stance, seemingly prepared to confront the notorious Yakuza group.

"So, you think you can take me on now? Ok then kid, let's see what you can do!" With an abrupt surge of energy, the Yakuza fervently declared his intentions and swiftly advanced towards Yang. Nevertheless, much to our utter surprise, as he executed his initial punch, Yang adeptly deflected it and promptly retaliated with a punch of his own. Despite my unobstructed observation of the Yakuza skillfully evading the strike, I was undeniably astonished when he succumbed to the very blow we believed he had skillfully dodged.

He clumsily staggered backwards, showcasing a lack of coordination in his movements, but managed to hastily regain his composure and launched another feeble attack at Yang. Yet again, Yang effortlessly deflected his strike with precision and countered with a swift palm strike aimed directly at his cheek. Despite witnessing him evasively dodge the attack with apparent agility, the same strike inexplicably boomeranged back towards him and forcefully connected with his cheek, leaving him visibly stunned. The perplexing turn of events caused him to retreat further in an ungraceful manner. As he gingerly wiped away a trickle of blood from his lip, he gazed upon Yang with a mixture of puzzlement and simmering resentment.

"I won't let you hurt them. Not anymore!" Yang's declaration as the martial artist kept being full of surprises intrigued me as I couldn't help but notice a peculiar blue aura seemingly emanating from him. Could it truly be? This uncanny occurrence immediately brought back memories of my wise grandfather's teachings during our extensive travels together. He once imparted to me that a warrior's genuine power is unveiled only when they fervently fight for their beliefs. The realization struck me - was Yang harboring this formidable strength all this time without knowing it?

"Don't get Cocky Kid! Those were just lucky shots, they won't happen again!" The Yakuza boss bellowed in a futile attempt to overpower Yang as he aggressively lunged forward, attempting to strike him. Yet, much to his dismay, each of his punches appeared feeble and ineffective against the impenetrable defense that Yang effortlessly maintained. It became evident in no time that Yang was not meeting the attacks directly; rather, he expertly redirected them - showcasing a strategic brilliance that outshone his adversary. This tactical finesse not only enabled him to confront a seemingly stronger opponent but also destabilized the boss's stance and posture, thereby enhancing the potency of his subsequent retaliatory maneuvers.

Yet, even with all his supposed strategy, Yang's plan ultimately proved to be far from foolproof. It was evident as I observed the intense altercation unfold between him and the Yakuza boss - a moment where Yang's vulnerability was exposed as the Yakuza boss nearly scored a direct hit on his cheek. This event triggered a swift retaliation from Yang in the form of a brutal gut punch, momentarily halting the Yakuza's assault but also creating an opening for Yang to deliver a powerful uppercut.

The Yakuza's escalating fury was palpable, fueling a surge of rage that propelled him to launch a relentless assault on Yang. His movements became more agile and swift, catching Yang off guard as he struggled to evade each strike. With each passing moment, it was evident that Yang's once confident demeanor had given way to a sense of urgency, his every move dictated by the need for survival. Despite his valiant attempts to retaliate amidst the chaos, the Yakuza's heightened prowess allowed him to effortlessly dodge and neutralize any counterattacks from Yang. The unfolding battle between them was nothing short of a mesmerizing display of skill and determination.

----------------YANG'S PERSPECTIVE----------------

This encounter proved to be far more demanding than I initially foresaw. Swiftly maneuvering to evade a forceful kick from the Yakuza boss, I retaliated with vigor. Analyzing his movements enabled me to anticipate his evasive maneuvers, leading me to adjust my offensive tactics accordingly. Despite my calculated approach, the boss adeptly dodged my strike, narrowly avoiding contact as my blow grazed his cheek. It became apparent that this confrontation was escalating beyond my expectations in terms of difficulty, prompting uncertainty regarding my ability to endure the ongoing skirmish!

Even though I was able to anticipate his next move with precision, his strike managed to graze me, serving as a testament to his formidable skills. This prompted me to respond swiftly and decisively, delivering a powerful punch to his gut that caught him off guard, causing him to stumble back in astonishment. Seizing the moment, I launched a series of rapid attacks, landing blow after blow before the Yakuza boss retaliated with a forceful hit on my cheek that sent me reeling backwards. His striking prowess was truly remarkable and left me in awe of his strength and agility.

As I swiftly maneuvered to evade the imminent strike, it became apparent that his velocity was intensifying with every passing moment. In response, I executed a swift palm strike, yet his agility prevailed as he countered with a forceful elbow to my midsection followed by an uppercut. Following a quick somersault to regain my equilibrium, I narrowly sidestepped a potentially devastating kick directed at my head. This created a moment of vulnerability for him, which I capitalized on by delivering a decisive blow—a powerful punch that propelled the notorious Yakuza Boss backwards in a dramatic display of force.

Nevertheless, in the midst of the intense battle, as I braced myself to persevere, my vision inexplicably blurred and I found myself crumbling to one knee in a moment of unexpected weakness. The perplexing turn of events left me questioning my very existence. A sudden heaviness engulfed my body, as if gravity had intensified tenfold, rendering movement an arduous task. Despite the deafening ringing in my ears, amidst the chaos, the sinister laughter of the Yakuza boss reverberated ominously through the air, mocking my vulnerability and adding insult to injury.

"You really are not as skilled as I thought. Did you not notice I have been hitting your vital points this entire time? You really are stupid. But that doesn't matter, because now you die." He would say, as he ran at me, I couldn't stand, I couldn't even move. Was this the end? These thoughts echoed in my mind, sending shivers down my spine as the impending danger lurked closer. However, just as he reached me and aimed his strike, a figure intervened, stopping the blow from hitting me. But who was it? The suspense and fear gripped me tightly as I struggled to make sense of the chaotic scene unfolding before my eyes. As I looked up, I recognized the figure - it was Mr. Furinji. Relief washed over me momentarily, but a nagging worry lingered in the back of my mind about what might happen next in this unpredictable situation.

"Well Young ones. I am surprised with how well you all did. Especially you, Young Yang. To have learned both the Seikūken technique and the Inner eye, at such a young age at that. You have a gift for this, truly. But right now, there are more important things to deal with." Hayato's almost violent action of hurling the Yakuza boss to the ground, causing the man to skid across the surface like a stone skipping on water, raises questions about his role as a master. Traditionally, masters are expected not to interfere in their disciples' fights, so why did he break this code? The realization dawns that Miu, presumably his disciple, had already been defeated. It becomes apparent that I was not under his tutelage, thus I realized he was not breaking this .

Nevertheless, at that moment, my injuries finally caught up with me. My vision blurred once more, and I experienced the undeniable sensation of my body failing me, ultimately causing me to slip into a state of unconsciousness.
