Chapter 4: Let's Go!
I was happy with my gifts and wanted nothing more than to begin.
But Rob interrupted my musings.
"And as promised, here you go. Your gift from me. A magical cellphone same as your other items. Indestructible and inseparable. It can be used to call others even if you don't know their number. It has a few limitations though. I am sure you'll understand."
Once I saw the rectangular sleek smartphone, I touched it, and immediately understood what ROB was talking about.
This smartphone could call anyone, provided we are in a world, where there are telephones or phone lines available.
Aside from that, it could browse the internet and function like a regular phone, despite the fact that there need not be any internet in the world. And the phone could act as a magical focus and change shape as desired. That was more than I could ask for!
"Thanks a lot. I am grateful for your kindness."
He smiled and waved me goodbye.
"I will be watching your journey, young man. So make it interesting. We don't care if you become the greatest evil the world, aim for world domination. As long as you preserve the balance, and do not destroy the world and reality, you have all the freedom you can afford. So go enjoy yourself. And have a memorable adventure!"
And with that, I blanked out.
