Synopsis
Two armies faced off, dragons danced wildly. This was a war between the living and the dead, a contest of life and death, a divine duel between the Cold God and the Red God, a song of ice and fire. Harry Potter, rising above the crowd, arrived at the battlefront: "Ten years of bitter fighting have finally brought us to this day." The writer started with a strong concept full of potential for character growth and world-building. The story was captivating up to chapter 7, but then the overuse of qi turned the narrative into spam, killing the originality and flow. Why inject qi when the magic system already works perfectly? The story barely holds until chapter 15, where the sudden introduction of Daoist immortals makes the plot a confusing mess. The Harry Potter universe is already perfectly balanced—throwing in Chinese wuxia elements only disrupts the world’s harmony. When I saw chapter 16 titled "Chinese Parents," I was done. Enough is enough. And seriously, is it now mandatory for Chinese authors to shove nationalism into every story? It’s exhausting and ruins the reading experience. This novel completely lost me.
