Synopsis
In 1892, in the Scottish Highlands, Hogwarts Castle.
Just as the freshly graduated William Richard "reluctantly" accepted the offer from Headmaster Blake to take the job of teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts—he traversed through time once again and found himself in London a hundred years later.
Upon receiving another owl from Hogwarts, he didn't hesitate much, and to continue learning his beloved magic, he once again enrolled as a rare fifth-year transfer student at Hogwarts over the past hundred years.

Honestly it was pretty decent starting out, but the story just gets worse over time. I think it's supposed to be funny, but it often falls flat for me. Another thing is that this is a story where the MC doesn't know the books making any sort of transmigration pointless.
Very good! Of course, sometimes Kitayshina sneaks in, but rarely and unobtrusively. If you just take it as his personal preferences, especially Chinese cuisine, then it's all fine.

Yeah, I only read 3 chapters so far, but this shit is so good (so far), that I felt obligated to leave a review. Just so you know, chap 3 ends with MC closing the door to Snape's face, thinking he was some sort of homeless man. MC seems like a real fun character, that don't know the plot (only that this is the HP verse, as he never read the books), an element that can be real interesting if done right. Will update if things fall off later.

translation gets worse after chapter 80, pretty much unreadable unless you turn your brain off. I would expect it to be better since its webnovel recommended... the story itself isnt terrible, but after 90 with almost nothing happening, im giving up. its basically a copy and paste of the actual harry potter story with bad translations thrown in

It's kinda aimless? Like, if you're from the past (as this MC is), there's usually something you gotta do that comes along with that. If you aren't, there's still some stations of canon for you to play with. But this guy becomes a fifth year, directly, so we've only got two years of action (and those two years are already kinda distanced from the main plot, due to his age). Like, what are we doing here? Guarding a vault, apparently -- which is better than watching paint dry, but not by much. Also, it invokes one of my least favorite Harry Potter tropes: the diary escapes.
